  • Patent number: 10857564
Abstract: A hot melt glue gun includes a charging cylinder mounted to the rear of the gun with chambers for holding solid glue sticks. The cylinder is mounted to the hot melt gun housing via a centered shaft allowing it to revolve circumferentially. The cylinder is mounted in a position on the back of the glue gun so that each chamber when rotated to the top aligns with the glue stick entry port in the back of the glue gun. Each chamber has resilient flanges within the chamber that cause friction when a glue stick is inserted into the chamber, thus lightly securing the glue stick before it is pushed forward into the glue gun port and taken up by the trigger activated forward grip.

  • Patent number: 4973507
Abstract: A thin wood dimensionally stable flat laminate panel made out of one or more wood veneer sheets attached to one or more sheets of core ply material such as chipboard by adhesive. The thickness of the panel is in the range of from about 0.080 inches to about 0.180 inches. Apertures passing through the panel are positioned around or arranged along the edges of the panel in order to decrease warpage of the panel due to moisture passing to and from the wood veneer sheets at the edges of the panel as a result of moisture passing to the atmosphere from the sheets and from the atmosphere to said sheets. The apertures are preferably spaced the same distance apart. The apertures may be formed by using a commercial sewing machine to position the stitching along the edges of the panel. The stitching provides a capillary "wicking" action facilitating venting of the moisture from the wood veneer sheets to the atmosphere. Stitching may also be used to attach a bias cover material around the edges of the panel.

  • Patent number: 4247002
Abstract: An antistatic phonograph record envelope for storing records in a cardboard jacket is made from extruded plastic film having a thickness between about 1 and 6 mils with an antistatic agent extruded within the film. Layers of the plastic film have one or more seams providing a closed end and sides while an open end of the envelope has an elongated slit through which the record is inserted into the envelope for storage and pulled out of the envelope for use. The antistatic agent in the plastic film layers prevents the buildup of static electricity on the record as it is inserted into and pulled out of the envelope and also dissipates any accumulated static electricity on the record during storage within the envelope. At the open end, the plastic layers preferably have cooperable projections that are snapped into engagement with each other to provide a seal for the envelope.

  • Patent number: 4232871
Abstract: A manual record cleaner that is manually grasped and engaged with a rotating record to provide effective cleaning of the record grooves as well as removal of static electrical charge from the record. A body of the cleaner includes rigid leading and trailing projections spaced from each other and having coverings of a soft pile for cleaning the records. A receptacle mounts the cleaner and has a first compartment that receives the leading projection and a second compartment that receives the trailing projection. Within the first compartment, an absorbent material is mounted on the receptacle in a spaced relationship from the pile covering of the leading projection so that cleaning liquid applied thereto creates an atmosphere that dampens the leading projection pile covering the proper amount. Static charge on a record being cleaned and dust accumulation are removed by the dampened leading projection while the dry trailing projection removes any remaining dust accumulation.

  • Patent number: 4155448
Abstract: A phonograph record cleaner having a pair of soft pile covered projections extending downwardly from a cleaner body with a still brush and a soft brush also extending downwardly between the projections. During cleaning of a record, the cleaner is oriented so that the stiffer brush precedes the softer brush, and the pile covered projections properly locate the ends of the brush bristles relative to the record surface. The stiffer bristles are longer than the softer bristles, while the softer bristles of the shorter length are more densely packed than the stiffer bristles. Indicia on the cleaner body allows the cleaner to be hand held and properly oriented during use. Both of the brushes project downwardly through openings in a hollow lower member of the cleaner body and have retainers that limit the downward movement through the openings.
