  • Publication number: 20120234936
Abstract: A foam spraying rig having an engine, a compressor and a hydraulic system positioned within a compartment. The foam spraying rig has a heat exchanger positioned within the compartment, and a fluid line connected to the engine, compressor and hydraulic system passes through the heat exchanger. A first storage tank containing a first material and a second storage tank containing a second material is positioned within the compartment. The first and second materials are conveyed through the heat exchanger through fluid lines which connect to a proportioner which meters the first and second material at specified proportions. The proportioner is fluidly connected to a dispenser which mixes the first and second material before it is dispensed. This arrangement of components within the compartment and the use of the heat exchanger warms the first and second materials to an operative temperature in a quick, inexpensive, low maintenance and durable manner.

  • Publication number: 20100044462
Abstract: A foam spraying rig comprising a trailer or cargo truck having first and second fluid spray component storage tanks mounted in the body thereof. An internal combustion engine is provided within the body of the trailer or cargo truck as are the other components of the system. The components of the system include a hydraulic pump, an engine exhaust system may include an exhaust water jacket, an air compressor, proportioning pump, and a heat exchanger. The hydraulic oil from the hydraulic pump and the lubricating oil of the air compressor are in recirculating fluid communication with the heat exchanger. The engine coolant is also in recirculating fluid communication with the heat exchanger as is the coolant from the exhaust water jacket.

  • Patent number: 7264178
Abstract: A foam spraying rig comprising a vehicle having first and second fluid spray component storage tanks mounted in the body of the vehicle, each of which are heated by electrical heaters and by tubing which is connected to the coolant of the water cooled engine of the vehicle. The rig also includes a heat exchanger tank including first and second heat exchangers, each of which have inlet and outlet ends. The outlet ends of the fluid component storage tanks are connected to the inlet ends of first and second pumps, respectively. The outlet ends of the first and second pumps are fluidly connected to the inlet ends of the first and second heat exchangers, respectively. The outlet ends of the first and second heat exchangers are fluidly connected to a spray nozzle which sprays the components onto a surface such as a wall surface or a truck bed.

  • Patent number: 6626621
Abstract: A generally Y-shaped winch assembly is described for use with a trailer or truck. The winch assembly includes a stem portion having a pair of horizontally spaced-apart plates extending upwardly from the upper end thereof. A strap receiver mechanism is rotatably mounted on the plates and is controlled by a conventional winch ratchet assembly. A spring-loaded hook member is mounted on the stem portion for engagement with the lower end of a side rail, the lower end of the side area of the trailer, or the lower end of a stand-off plate to maintain the winch assembly in a desired position at one side of the trailer.

  • Patent number: 4039147
Abstract: A spraying apparatus of a type for dispensing a liquid chemical to crop land. A trailer adapted to be connected to a prime mover includes a frame attached thereto. A parallelogram actuating mechanism is provided for vertically adjusting the position of the frame and thereby spraying apparatus connected thereto with respect to the trailer and thereby with respect to the ground. A pair of folding spraying booms having spray nozzles thereon are pivotally connected to each side of the frame and an actuating mechanism is provided for moving the booms between an extended position for spraying and a retracted position folded along side the trailer for transporting from place to place.
