    Abstract: A whimsical firefly simulation apparatus achieves the random, fanciful flutter of fireflies' flight and bioluminescence through the use of the vibrating wand, which includes a weighted motor. An open-ended square configuration of a blue, a red, and a green LED, in combination with the vibrating wand allow for a visual display of blue, violet, red, yellow, green and white light to be generated.
