  • Publication number: 20240088408
Abstract: An air supply arrangement for air flow plates (5) of electrochemical cells (3) within a fuel cell stack (1). Each air flow plate (5) has a gas exchange volume (19). A common air supply pipe (11) supplies air to the air flow plates (5). There is an air supply region (35) and a separate air distribution conduit (15) for each air flow plate (5). Each air distribution conduit (15) provides an air header volume (43) and has an inlet and an outlet. The common air supply pipe (11) is connected to each air supply region (35) and each air supply region (35) is connected to the inlet of each air distribution conduit (15). The outlet of each air distribution conduit (15) is connected to a gas exchange volume (19) and each gas exchange volume (19) extends across the width of the associated air flow plate (5).

  • Publication number: 20210195980
Abstract: A modular respiratory protection system comprises a frame defining an opening configured to expose a portion of a user's head. A blower is configured to draw air through an air filter and through a portion of the frame. A head protection element is releasably coupled to the frame and the head protection element is configured to cover the opening.

  • Publication number: 20070223751
Abstract: An apparatus for creating, utilizing a pair of oppositely opposed headphone speakers, the sensation of a sound source being spatially distant from the area between the pair of headphones, the apparatus comprising: (a) a series of audio inputs representing audio signals being projected from an idealised sound source located at a spatial location relative to the idealised listener; (b) a first mixing matrix means interconnected to the audio inputs and a series of feedback inputs for outputting a predetermined combination of the audio inputs as intermediate output signals; (c) a filter system of filtering the intermediate output signals and outputting filtered intermediate output signals and the series of feedback inputs, the filter system including separate filters for filtering the direct response and short time response and an approximation to the reverberant response, in addition to the feedback response filtering for producing the feedback inputs; and (d) a second matrix mixing means combining the filtered

  • Patent number: 6672761
Abstract: A method of controlling an X-ray system and a cabinet for an X-ray system. The method comprises viewing a first virtual X-ray image of an object, manipulating the first image to best show an area of interest, and generating a second image in real time corresponding to the area of interest. The cabinet comprises an inner housing having an open mouth and being fully insertable with a clearance in an outer housing having an open mouth, the inner and outer housings being attachable to secure and space the housings in a predetermined relationship. Lead shielding comprises a substantially complete intermediate layer extending between the inner and outer housings and the open mouth is provided with a lead lined closure.
