The econometric database is accessible to a system application that graphically displays econometric data over selected periods, and allows display of external economic data in conjunction with internal company metrics. The system applications further provide for identifying the features of indicators, economic and business forecasting, and providing alerts based on the available econometric data.

Abstract: Compositions for caring for contact lenses and eyes include a liquid aqueous medium and a vitamin derivative component present in an amount effective as a surfactant in the composition. The compositions can be used to clean, soak, re-wet and, with the inclusion of a disinfectant, disinfect contact lenses. In addition, the compositions are effective as artificial tears and eye wash solutions. Methods for contact lens care and eye care are also disclosed.

Abstract: An apparatus for transmission of rotation between a first rotational member and a second rotational member comprises a first gear member mounted for rotation about an axis and coupled for rotation to the first rotational member. An eccentric gear arrangement is mounted eccentrically with respect to the axis and has a first eccentric gear portion for engagement with the first gear member and a second eccentric gear portion for engagement with a second gear member. Crank means couple the eccentrically mounted gear arrangement to the second rotational member, whereby orbital motion of the eccentric gear arrangement about the axis is transmitted to the second rotational member. The first and second eccentric gear portions are coupled for rotation with each other, and the first and second gear members are rotationally independent of each other.

Abstract: A surge suppression unit comprises connection circuitry for coupling the surge suppression unit in a communication cable. Surge suppression circuitry uses Silicon Avalanche Diodes (SADs) that couple power surges on the communication cable to ground. In one embodiment, the surge suppression unit includes multiple surge suppression modules configured for inserting into different slots in a same enclosure.

Abstract: A method for preventing combustion chamber deposits from causing start-failures in an internal combustion engine comprises operating the engine with a fuel composition that contains a normally liquid fuel and a nitrogen-containing detergent that includes a polyetheramine; a Mannich reaction product of a hydrocarbyl-substituted phenol, an aldehyde and an amine; or a mixture there. The method is effective in preventing start-failures in multi-valve, low friction, spark-ignited engines.
