    Abstract: A display server according to one embodiment includes first and second server programs that are configured to receive drawing requests from clients and to write corresponding rendering commands to respective command queues. A graphics processing unit is configured to execute the commands, to write the resulting rendered pixel data to respective portions of graphics memory, and to display pixel data from a display buffer in a selected one of the portions of graphics memory.
