  • Patent number: 11697065
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a convenient transfer of control elements for a gaming session from one device to another device without interrupting the gaming session for one or more players. For example, systems disclosed herein include pairing an input device (e.g., a gaming controller) with one or more client devices. Once paired, the input device may detect a trigger condition based on proximity of a registered client device to the input device. The client device may pull control of one or more control elements for the gaming session. The client device may then continue the gaming session without interrupting the experience for the user or for other users that may be engaged within the gaming session.

  • Publication number: 20120312328
Abstract: A detector cleaner generally defined as a funnel structure with a preferably integrally formed wide surface area on one end, and an integrally formed narrow surface area on the opposite end, the funnel structure further having an interior void V or funnel channel where the wide area of the funnel structure is adapted to be placed over a detector to thereby completely encapsulate the detector. The narrow area of the funnel structure is adapted to be removeably connectable to a suction means (such as a vacuum machine) through a vacuum connection. Preferably, one or more angled holes are formed variously on the funnel structure so that when the suction means is engaged, the exterior air or other fluid flowing through each angled hole will dramatically enter the interior of the funnel to thereby create a significant fluid cyclone or swirling effect within the interior chamber of the funnel structure.

  • Publication number: 20060206068
Abstract: A device for the dispensing of gauzes and the like includes a housing device for the mechanical dispensing of multiple disposable gauzes, a cap at the end of the dispensing unit, and elements for the gauze to allow for sterility, grip and usefulness. The elements include a groove and stabilizing head system that allow for dispensing of the gauzes that are secured in place by a master circular disk and spring with a system of opposing saw tooth to allow forward motion of the gauze disk and the actual disposable gauze disk with an absorbent material on one side and on the other side a latex or a rubber belt to allow for the securing of gauze disk over the veni puncture site in an absorbent pad.

  • Publication number: 20050284497
Abstract: The compact case including the hinge assembly and snap latch would be made of plastic in an injection molding process requiring the design and use of custom molds. Special modifications and the design of a slightly larger enclosure to hold the batteries and lights may be required. The remaining components of the invention, namely the mirror, the makeup, the lamps, the batteries, the switches, the dimming mechanism and the like, would best be obtained from wholesalers and manufacturers that deal in goods of that nature and assembled at a final location. The relatively simple design of the invention and the materials of construction make the Illuminated Make-Up Compact a cost-effective design due to the relatively low material and labor costs involved. Final production of the Illuminated Make-Up Compact will be performed by manufacturing workers of average skill.

  • Publication number: 20050201205
Abstract: A transducer assembly is provided with an ultrasonic transducer, a capacitor, and a transformer enclosed within a protective housing, and an acoustic block. The transducer is adhered to the acoustic block, and the materials of the transducer, acoustic block, and adhesive are selected so that when the transducer assembly is adhered to an aluminum boat hull, acoustic energy loss due to attenuation is mitigated. The secondary winding of the transformer and the capacitor form a resonant circuit that is wired to the ultrasonic transducer and helps to reject some of the acoustic-generated hull noise that may reach the transducer. The transformer steps up the voltage pulses to the transducer. In use, the transducer assembly is wired to a sounding unit, which provides the voltage pulses for generating ultrasonic pulses, and processes electrical signals from the transducer that correspond to ultrasonic echoes.
