  • Publication number: 20240428175
Abstract: A control device determines, on a basis of (i) an arrival time when a vehicle will arrive at a destination desired by a and (ii) a period of delivery time it takes for a drone to deliver, to the vehicle, a product ordered by the user who is traveling in the vehicle, whether or not it is possible for the drone to deliver the product to the vehicle before the vehicle arrives at the destination.

  • Publication number: 20230184579
Abstract: Generating a fulfillment attribute(s) associated with an item(s) based on inputs associated with the item(s) is described. One or more inputs (e.g., images) of an item (packaged or unpackaged) can be analyzed, and characteristics associated with the item can be determined based on the analysis of the inputs. Upon receiving a user-specified delivery location, fulfillment attribute(s) can be determined based on the delivery location and the characteristics associated with the item, and the fulfillment attribute(s) can be displayed to a user. For example, a point-of-sale (POS) device can be used during a checkout process at a merchant location to capture an image(s) of an item, and to display a shipping quote for selection by a user based on the captured item imagery.

  • Patent number: 11086825
Abstract: In one embodiment, a telemetry system may track a cloud synchronization system to improve performance. A service proxy 114 may receive a matching file metadata set 304 for a matching file 134 stored in a cloud user account 132 of a cloud synchronization system. The service proxy 114 may execute a synchronization verification of the matching file metadata set 304 to a local file 112 stored in a client device 110. • Patent number: 8983904
Abstract: A file system watcher in the presence of different file systems to allow synchronization of replicated files distributed among different file systems without compromising the features of each file system is described. To synchronize the distributed replications, a platform independent synchronization manager creates a file system watcher for each file system associated with a replication of the file. The file system watcher monitors each object for events affecting the object or the object's constituent files, such as creation, deletion, change and rename. Notifications are sent to the synchronization manager, which consolidates the modifications and updates a locally stored replication, if necessary. The synchronization manager then sends a notification of an update to other synchronization managers for replications of the distributed file or folder.

  • Patent number: 8086565
Abstract: The claimed subject matter is directed to a file system watcher in the presence of different file systems to allow synchronization of replicated files distributed among different file systems without compromising the features of each file system. To synchronize the distributed replications, a platform independent synchronization manager creates a file system watcher for each file system associated with a replication of the file. Notifications are sent to the synchronization manager, which consolidates the modifications and updates a locally stored replication, if necessary. The synchronization manager then sends a notification of an update to all other synchronization managers for all replications of the distributed file or folder.

The may have an outside surface has a hardness of greater than durometer 70 Shore A and preferably has a hardness of above about 75 Shore A or above about 100 Shore D. The mass element has a binding agent which is an epoxy resin or thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin. The metal particles can be grinded iron of preferably 85% to 96% by volume with a binding agent 4% to 12% by volume. The mass element preferably has solid metal particles of greater than 85% by weight; and a binding agent of less than 15% by weight.

  • Publication number: 20080090710
Abstract: An exercise machine has a base member with a front end and a rear end. A leg developer pivotally mounts to the base member at the front end. The flip pad pivotally mounts to the base member at the front end and the flip pad is set in one of at least two angular positions. The flip pad with leg developer exercise machine also has a base standing on a floor and supporting a seat with a first pivot near one end of a seat. The seat is placed a distance above the floor on a base frame of base to accommodate a user comfortably to sit down for various exercises. The flip pad can be in abdominal position rotated toward the user or in bicep position. Specifically the user's back so that the user can exercise abdominal muscles or tricep muscles.

  • Publication number: 20060020924
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for monitoring performance of groupings of network infrastructure and applications using statistical analysis. A method, system and computer program monitors managed unit groupings of executing software applications and execution infrastructure to detect deviations in performance. Logic acquires time-series data from at least one managed unit grouping of executing software applications and execution infrastructure. Other logic derives a statistical description of expected behavior from an initial set of acquired data. Logic derives a statistical description of operating behavior from acquired data corresponding to a defined moving window of time slots.

  • Publication number: 20060020923
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for monitoring performance of arbitrary groupings of network infrastructure and applications. A method, system and computer program monitor arbitrary groupings of executing software applications and execution infrastructure to detect deviations in performance. A group of software applications and execution infrastructure components is selected arbitrarily and without constraint to define a managed unit. Data from the software applications and execution infrastructure components of the at least one managed unit is acquired. The acquired data is statistically analyzed to identify deviations in operating behavior of the at least one managed unit to indicate a statistically significant probability that an operating anomaly exists within the at least one managed unit.
