  • Patent number: 11966372
Abstract: A novel technique for matching, merging, and combining a new database record with a master database record is described herein. The technique uses specific fields to compare in a unique exact match and fuzzy match combination to determine if a non-exact matching record pair is indeed a matched pair. Once the match is established, the records are merged or combined to utilize the best information from the two records.

  • Publication number: 20210014109
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method receives a first file for an update to a configuration. The first file is sent via an operations, administration, and management message over an optical network. A specification is used to provision an optical networking unit includes a requirement that the operations, administration, and management message is to be used to update the configuration. The method analyzes the first file to determine the first file includes an instruction for locating a second file that includes an update to the configuration and extracts download information for the second file from the first file. The method then uses the download information to request and download the second file via a data connection over the optical network. The data connection includes a first transfer rate that is higher than a second transfer rate when using operations, administration, and management messages.

  • Patent number: 9226036
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing secure on-premises gleaning to modify an electronic program guide are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method involves receiving, at a network interface, network data traffic and routing the network data traffic between an external network and an internal network and receiving, at a broadcast interface, media content and an electronic programming guide from a media content distributor. The method also involves parsing the network data traffic to glean preference information, providing the preference information to a recommendation engine via a secure local path, and modifying an electronic programming guide to prioritize the media content according to the preference information.

  • Patent number: 4765073
Abstract: A snowblower is disclosed wherein use is made of one vertically disposed endless snow conveying belt to which are secured transverse snow scraper members. The forward strand of the belt is made to travel downward, the scraper members digging into the snow to drive it at the rear of the belt where the scraper members of the upwardly moving rearward strand drive the snow through a conventional outlet arrangement including an elongated opening extending the full width of the casing top wall. The snowblower may make use of a single endless snow conveying belt with scrapers cooperating with the back wall of the casing or else use is made of two snow conveying belts, with appropriate snow scrapers, travelling in opposite directions and forming a snow discharge channel between them wherein the snow is powerfully driven upward through the top wall opening having an appropriate chute for guiding the snow being discharged.

  • Patent number: 4747368
Abstract: A chemical vapor deposition apparatus for depositing films or coatings on semiconductor substrates. Substrates are supported within an air tight reactor and heated to a predetermined reaction temperature. A manifold disposed within the reactor, and having a plurality of openings therein, receives one or more reactive vapors and evenly distributes the vapors through the openings in the vicinity of the substrates, such that the vapors react at the substrate surfaces and a film or coating is deposited thereon. One or more cooling tubes substantially envelope the manifold, thereby maintaining the manifold at a temperature less than at least the reaction temperature such that the vapors do not prematurely react within the manifold. Hence, films and coatings are prevented from forming within the manifold, and sufficient unreacted vapors are supplied to the substrate to effect a satisfactory coating or film thereon.

  • Patent number: 4509659
Abstract: Portable liquid measuring and dispensing device comprising a main reservoir for containing oil and to which a chamber is connected for metering a predetermined quantity of oil, this chamber being solid with the main reservoir and having a visual indicator showing the quantity of liquid contained in the chamber. The device includes a liquid moving assembly solid with the reservoir and the chamber, this assembly being formed of a rotary pump brought into rotation by a D.C. motor connected to a power source including a polarity inverter switch having a pair of buttons, each actuatable to cause rotation of the pump in one of its two directions of rotation.

  • Patent number: 3995873
Abstract: The skateboard includes only one forward roller and one rearward roller both of sufficient width to provide stability. Each roller is rotatably supported by a combined fork and fender member which in turn is supported to the underside of the board in a manner to permit swivelling about a journal axis formed at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the board. A cantilevered leaf spring in the main frame portion cooperates with a pinion in the journal for the swivel axis to return the roller to a neutral position.
