Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a media server from a computing device, a first request for a manifest associated with media content. The method also includes generating, at the media server, the manifest based on a manifest type and a content segmentation type. The manifest identifies one or more segments of one or more adaptive streaming renditions. The method further includes sending the manifest from the media server to the computing device. The method includes receiving a second request from the computing device, where the second request identifies a requested segment of an adaptive streaming rendition identified by the manifest. The method also includes sending the requested segment from the media server to the computing device in response to the second request.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes substantially simultaneously applying a pre-determined voltage to a sense electrode and a corresponding drive electrode of a touch sensor. The application of the pre-determined voltage providing a measurement current at a capacitance including the sense electrode. The method also includes determining a difference between the measurement current at the capacitance and a reference value; and determining whether a proximity input to the touch sensor has occurred based at least in part on the difference.

A method may include receiving at least one character input. The method may further include causing, in response to receiving the at least one character input, performance of a first search within a local memory of a device based at least in part on the at least one character input. The method may further include causing, in response to receiving a number of character inputs that exceeds a threshold number, performance of a second search external to the device based at least in part on the character inputs. Corresponding apparatuses and computer program products are also provided.

Abstract: A user interface for generating an ad creative for displaying a video advertisement on a mobile includes a control section and a preview section. The operator enters control parameters in the control section and previews the look-and-feel of a video advertisement as it will be played back on a target mobile platform, based on the control parameters. Control parameters include one or more of URLs for video, a web site visited after completion of the video and a web site visited when a user requests additional information.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are herein provided for executing functions based on whether a hover gesture or a touch gesture is performed. A method may include receiving user input directed to a screen of a device and determining whether the user input is a hover gesture or a touch gesture. A touch gesture being defined by user input that contacts the screen. A hover gesture being defined by user input that does not contact the screen. The method may further include causing, in an instance in which the user input is determined to be the hover gesture, execution of a system function and causing, in an instance in which the user input is determined to be the touch gesture, execution of a content function. Corresponding apparatuses and computer program products are also provided.

Abstract: A pedestal positioning assembly system for use in a substrate processing system includes a pedestal rigidly attached to a pedestal shaft, a reference rigidly attached to the substrate processing system, a lateral adjustment assembly to adjust a lateral location of the pedestal relative to the reference, and a vertical adjustment assembly to adjust a tilt of the pedestal relative to the reference. The lateral adjustment assembly and the vertical adjustment assembly are external to a processing chamber and are coupled to the pedestal disposed within the processing chamber through the pedestal shaft. The reference can be a ring and the lateral adjustment assembly substantially centers the pedestal within the ring. A method of adjusting a pedestal includes leveling the pedestal, translating the pedestal, calibrating the pedestal height to a preheat ring level, and checking the level and location of the pedestal while rotating the pedestal.

Fastening portions such as Velcro portions or hooks are positioned at the first and second free ends of the elastic band and can be fastened together so as to form the elastic band into a loop to cover a ponytail holder. Strips of hair extend over and substantially cover a surface of the elastic band that is outwardly facing when formed into the loop. A ponytail holder includes a band of hair extending between first and second free ends and hooks attached to the first and second free ends that can be fastened together to secure the ponytail holder when the band of hair is wrapped around a ponytail.

Abstract: A motorized wheelchair kill switch for improving the safety of motorized wheelchairs is described. The motorized wheelchair kill switch includes a photoelectric sending unit and a photoelectric receiving unit that are used to kill the operation of a wheelchair joystick. The photoelectric sending unit emits a light beam toward the photoelectric receiving unit along a path that will be broken if a user is safely seated in the wheelchair. If the light beam is detected a determination is made that the user is not properly seated. In that case the joystick operation is disabled, locking the wheelchair motor and preventing accidental movement.

Abstract: An attachment for exercise equipment is disclosed. The attachment is a handle assembly with a compressible rotating grip mechanism. The grip mechanism includes a swivel grip rotatably attached to the handle, and a floating grip coupled to the swivel grip by one or more pins. The grip mechanism includes one or more springs between the swivel grip and the floating grip.

A cable from the lift mechanism connects to a recreational vehicle. The cable in then retracted to lift the recreational vehicle into a vertical orientation. This method of storage reduces the amount of space that is required to store a recreational vehicle. The storage method can be used in a garage, on the back or within a mobile transportation vehicle. The lifting device can be a powered or manual crank device that lifts the recreational vehicle. The ramp can be used to transport other vehicles into the truck and also provides protection of the wheels of the recreational vehicle against here the vehicle is stored.
