  • Publication number: 20240131889
Abstract: An example of an apparatus to transport utility-scale lithium-ion batteries in a racked and operational state. The apparatus includes a base and an isolation platform. In addition, the apparatus includes an isolator mounted on the base to support the isolation platform. The isolator is to dampen forces exerted on the isolation platform from the base. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a rack mounted onto the isolation platform. The rack is to secure a plurality of lithium-ion batteries to store energy at a utility-scale to be provided to a power distribution network. The plurality of lithium-ion batteries is racked in an operational state during transportation.

  • Patent number: 8032977
Abstract: The invention is a device and a method for manufacturing the device, namely an air moving device, such as a vacuum cleaner, yard air blower, or other air moving machinery. The device and method involves using compressible foam, molded into appropriate configurations to secure the mechanical components, such as the motor and fan, inside a housing for operation. In most cases the method would involve enclosing an Air Moving Motor and its supporting components between two molded pieces of foam. The foam would conform to significant features on the motor or accompanying devices. The assembly will be placed into a molded housing, using the housing to encase the assembly.

  • Patent number: 7434088
Abstract: A fault router method and system for use in a parallel redundant network environment provide additional safeguards over traditional redundant networks. Where multiple connection faults on multiple machines would ordinarily stifle communications between two or more network entities, the fault router passes packets between redundant networks to bypass connection faults. Compatibility and timing improvements allow for the extension of the parallel network environment, and provide for time-synchronized network operation.
