  • Publication number: 20060114108
Abstract: A light control system may include a signal coder (e.g., a flasher module), one or more motor vehicle light sources, and a signal decoder. The light control system may be a part of a motor vehicle taillight system. The signal coder may provide a selected signal. The selected signal may be a voltage signal having a modified portion when the signal coder is activated by a turn signal switch. The selected signal may be a substantially non-modified voltage signal when the signal coder is activated by a brake signal switch. The signal decoder may be coupled to the signal coder. The signal decoder may assess the selected signal from the signal coder to determine a selected lighting output of the motor vehicle light sources. The motor vehicle light sources may be coupled to the signal decoder. The motor vehicle light sources may provide the selected lighting output.

  • Patent number: 4873403
Abstract: An ON-OFF switch system for use between first and second conductors utilizing a first plate having first and second sides. The second side of the face plate includes an appendage which contacts an arm passing through a second plate. First and second plates slidingly engage one another to operate the arm. The arm is further connected to one of a pair of electrical contact members and is movable to operate contacts of the electrical members.

  • Patent number: 4803586
Abstract: A wall box mounted remotely operated voltage module utilizing a low voltage DC control signal which is remotely generated. A power semi conductor device is triggered to deliver a predetermined amount of power from the source of AC electrical power to a load. The AC electrical power is rectified and transformed to produce a low voltage rectified DC signal. A comparator generates a triggering signal to the power semi conductor utilizing the low voltage rectified DC signal and remotely generated low voltage DC control signal as imputs. The comparator also serves as a compensator for changes in the voltage of the AC electrical power from the source.

  • Patent number: 4772825
Abstract: A panel controlling multiple lighting intensities of a multiplicity of lights in conjunction with a remote lighting dimmer module which utilizes operators mechanically movable to operate potentiometers. Each potentiometer is capable of setting an intensity level of a particular light of the multiplicity of lights. A display is also employed which indicates a lighting level of each of the multiplicity of lights associated with each operator and corresponding potentiometer. The operators and display are supported by a chassis which is mountable in an electrical wall box. Information may be stored which defines a lighting scene in terms of an intensity level of each light of the multiplicity of lights which is set by the operators in the chassis. The intensity level information may be retrieved and transported to a dimmer module which sets the intensity level in each light. One scene may be set into the multiplicity of lights while another scene may be previewed on the display on the chassis.
