  • Publication number: 20250018109
Abstract: A plunger for use with a syringe has a plunger body with a proximal end, a distal end, and a circumferential sidewall extending between the proximal end and the distal end along a plunger longitudinal axis. The plunger further has at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member having a first segment attached to the plunger body and a second segment protruding toward the distal end of the plunger body and deflectable relative to the first segment. The plunger further has at least one actuation member associated with the at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member. The at least one actuation member interacts with a piston to deflect the at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member upon rotation of the plunger relative to the piston. • Patent number: 12173908
Abstract: An igniter assembly for a gas cooking appliance is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the igniter assembly may have an igniter that can be removed from and/or inserted into an igniter socket through a surface of a cooking appliance without having to remove the surface of the cooking appliance. Accordingly, when the surface is being cleaned after cooking applications, the igniter can be removed from the surface, thereby eliminating any potential damage to the igniter and allowing the surface to be thoroughly cleaned. After cleaning, the igniter can then be re-inserted into the igniter socket through the surface of the cooking appliance without having to remove the surface of the cooking appliance.

  • Patent number: 7490628
Abstract: A semi-flexible tube is captured between a valve body and a connection device wherein at least one of the valve body and the connection device is connected structurally to a range instead of relying on the manifold tube as the location mechanism for precisely locating the valve at a desired location on the range.

  • Patent number: 5828840
Abstract: A plurality of clients are connected to one or more servers. When a client initiates a connection with a server, the server responds to the request for connection by transmitting a message back to the client to determine whether the client is a network terminal or not. The client responds with a message that is received by an application dispatcher at the server which takes one of a pair of actions based on whether the client is a network terminal. If the client terminal is a network terminal, then the application dispatcher spawns a server application in the server which responds to the client application in the client. Going forward, the server application responds to all future requests from the client application. If the client is not a network terminal, then the application dispatcher initiates a client application in the server to service the client terminal application requirements.

  • Patent number: 4013879
Abstract: The digital CMOS/LSI synchronous serial multiplier includes a register to store an X-bit sign magnitude multiplier in parallel. The digital multiplier number can be entered into the register either serially or in parallel. A serial N-bit 2's complement multiplicand input is provided. (X - 1) adder stages are connected in series. A control arrangement coupled to the register, the multiplicand input and the adder stages are provided to couple each of the magnitude bits of the multiplier number into a different one of the adder stages with the adder stages performing successive additions of the magnitude bits of the multiplier number to provide as an output of a last of the adder stages a serial product having M bits. A serial Y-bit 2's complement addend can be coupled to the first of the adder stages to add the addend to the product.

  • Patent number: 3975587
Abstract: This invention relates to a digital vocoder where speech is translated to a digital version thereof. An adaptive filter in the form of an N stage Itakura type cascade derives from the speech a prediction residual and N spectral parameter in the form of weighting coefficients of the filter. The pitch period, derived from the prediction residual, the voiced/unvoiced decision derived from the first of the weighting coefficients and the peak amplitude of a pitch pulse, and a digital signal representing filter gain, derived from the last of the weighting coefficients are multiplexed with each other and the N spectral parameters for transmission to a receiver. The receiver employs an excitation generator responsive to the pitch period, the gain signal and the voiced/unvoiced decision to produce an excitation signal to excite an N/2 cascade connected stage receive filter. Each stage of the receive filter operates on a time shared basis on an adjacent pair of the N spectral parameters.
