    Abstract: There is disclosed a means and a method for inspecting and repairing a propeller on a propeller shaft on a ship. The ship is in the water. A truss is positioned on the propeller shaft. A habitat bag is positioned over the upper part of the propeller and is attached to the truss. Then, the truss is inflated with air. An inspector and/or a repair person can enter into the habitat and work in a dry environment while the ship is in the water. There is no need, in many instances, to place the ship in a dry dock.

The crude lactide is purified in an improved distillation system in which at least three fractions are formed with the substantially purified lactide removed as an intermediate boiling sidedraw stream. The substantially purified lactide may then be polymerized.

    Abstract: A limitation in the use of ceramic substrates for electronic packaging is that photolithographic processes applied to such substrate surfaces do not give the highest resolution that the process is capable of because of inherent surface topographical variations on the ceramic substrate. A smoothing layer of a dry film glazed photosensitive material, such as RISTON solder mask, is laminated over the substrate surface, exposed with UV and cured. Metal conductor lines are then bonded onto the surface of the solder mask layer.
