  • Publication number: 20030093964
Abstract: A floor grid system including a number of interconnectable tiles is provided. The tiles are interconnected with one another to form a floor surface through the use of locking assemblies extending between the tiles. The assemblies can be formed entirely on the tiles, or can include separate connectors engageable with the assemblies on adjacent tiles to interconnect the tiles and form the floor surface.

  • Publication number: 20030094554
Abstract: A bracket is provided for interconnecting a caster plate of a wheeled caster to a bottom surface of an object. The bracket includes a mounting plate that extends along an axis. A first guide track extends along the lower surface of the mounting plate adjacent the first side of the mounting plate. The first guide track has an upper surface for receiving the caster plate thereon, and first and second open ends. A second guide track extends along the lower surface of the mounting plate adjacent the second side of the mounting plate. The second guide track has an upper surface for receiving the caster plate thereon, and first and second open ends. It is contemplated for the caster plate to be slidably positioned on the upper surfaces of the first and second guide tracks from either the first ends of the first and second guide tracks or the second ends of the first and second guide tracks.

  • Patent number: 6430775
Abstract: A door stop is provided for preventing damage to a surface by a door knob of a door. The door stop includes a support member extending along an axis and having a first end connectable to a surface and a second opposite end. A generally flat deflection member extends radially from the second end of the support member towards the axis. The deflection member is deflectable between a non-deflected position and a deflected position in response to engagement thereof by the door knob. A biasing structure interconnects the deflection member and the second end of the support member. The biasing structure urges the deflection member towards the non-deflected position.

  • Patent number: 5557824
Abstract: A floor glide for furniture and the like includes a monobloc having a relatively arcuate convex lower surface for contact with the floor and a flat upper surface for supporting furniture, and adhesive means for securing the monobloc to the bottom of furniture. The monobloc is relatively thick and defines recesses for locating resilient adhesive pieces. The monobloc may have webs or ribs for structural rigidity defining one or more cavities in the upper surface to minimize material use. The glide permits furniture to be moved easily along the surface of a floor or floor covering.

  • Patent number: 5426818
Abstract: A floor glide for furniture and the like includes a concavo-convex disk having an arcuate convex lower surface, a concave upper surface defining a central cavity, a resilient pad fixed to the disk upper surface within the central cavity below the edge thereof, and adhesive means for securing the resilient pad to the bottom of furniture. The glide permits furniture to be moved easily along the surface of the floor.

  • Patent number: 5083668
Abstract: A point-of-purchase display includes adjacent aligned panels having horizontal corrugations and spaced X-shaped slits cut therethrough, hangers for supporting product extending through the panel slits, U-shaped elongate clips adapted to frictionally engage the lateral edge of a panel to hold panels in vertical alignment, and side rails having a guard and a free end extending horizontally through clip apertures into the corrugations. The panels may be hinged together and friction means may be placed on the side rail ends to limit free movement within the corrugations.

  • Patent number: 4673213
Abstract: A posture alignment seat shell for supporting and passively restraining a person seated therein includes a horizontal seat portion and an upstanding back portion formed from resilient material to define a one-piece unit. The upstanding back portion includes a lower back part connected to the seat portion, an upper back part above the lower back part and slanting forwardly thereform, and lateral side parts at opposite sides of the upstanding portion extending forwardly therefrom to prevent side movement of a person sitting thereon. The shell includes flexible strap means for pulling the upstanding back portion downward relative to the seat portion and adjusting the angular position of the back portion. The shell further includes strap means for securing the shell to a chair and strap means for pulling the top segment of the upper part downward and selectively adjusting the height thereof.

  • Patent number: 4569442
Abstract: A reclosable blister package includes a carrier and a blister with hinged top and bottom portions, the top portion having a scored peripheral flange. When the top and bottom portions are folded together, the flange is secured to the carrier to hold the unsecured bottom portion closed between the carrier and the top portion to seal the package. The score allows the blister to be detached from its flange, removed from the carrier and unfolded to an open condition.
