  • Patent number: 4688562
Abstract: A device for the prophylaxis of pressure sores which comprises a liquid retained within a flexible elastomeric envelope is described. The liquid is a viscous liquid which absorbs moisture vapor. The device is formed in the shape of the letter "U" which makes the device particularly useful for application to the sacrum.
