    Abstract: A calf muscle exercise device includes a base having a surface, inclined at about 35.degree. from horizontal, for supporting a user's feet, and a retainer for holding the user's feet on the inclined surface, with the user's toes pointing downwards. The method of using the exercise device is to position the user's feet on the inclined surface with the toes pointing downwards, to secure the feet against the inclined surface so as to leave the heels free to move, and then for the user to raise and lower their heels.
