  • Patent number: 8647087
Abstract: A hydraulic motor having a cooling system includes a stator, a rotor that rotates and orbits in the stator, a drive link connected to the rotor, and a housing connected with the stator. The housing includes a working fluid inlet port, a working fluid outlet port, a cooling fluid inlet port, and a cooling fluid outlet port. Each port extends through the housing and is configured to connect with a different associated external fluid line. Pressurized fluid enters the working fluid inlet port to rotate and orbit the rotor en route to the working fluid outlet port. The cooling fluid ports are isolated from the working fluid inlet port and the working fluid outlet port within the housing.

  • Patent number: 7909414
Abstract: A hydraulic circuit includes a spring applied-pressure released brake, a hydraulic motor, and a control in fluid communication with the brake and the motor. The control is operative between a first position and a second position. When in the first position the brake receives pressure from a first brake pressure source. When in the second position the brake receives pressure from a second pressure source and the motor is short circuited in relation to a motor pressure source. The control can be automatically reset upon pressurization of the hydraulic circuit.

  • Patent number: 7908960
Abstract: A return to neutral mechanism includes a hub, a lever and a biasing member. The hub is configured to connect fast to a control rod of an associated hydraulic pump. The lever connects to the hub and includes a location configured to connect to an associated linkage that is connected to an associated steering mechanism. The biasing member connects to the lever for biasing the lever and the control rod toward a neutral position.

  • Patent number: 7722131
Abstract: A control for a hydraulic circuit includes a manifold housing and a movable member disposed in the housing. The manifold housing can include a brake port and a pressure port. The brake port is in fluid communication with an associated spring applied-pressure released brake. The pressure port is in fluid communication with an associated pump. The movable member moves between a first operating position and a second operating position when pressure is not being applied to the pressure port. In the first operating position, the movable member is disposed to allow fluid communication between the associated pump and the associated brake. In the second operating position the movable member is disposed to prohibit fluid communication in a first direction from the associated brake toward upstream the associated pump while allowing fluid communication from upstream the associated pump toward the associated brake in a second direction. The manifold housing can also include first and second motor ports.

  • Patent number: 7513111
Abstract: A shock valve assembly for a hydraulic system includes a fluid path extending between a first port and a second port with a shock valve disposed in the fluid path to normally block fluid flow through the fluid path between the first and second ports. The shock valve temporarily opens to permit fluid flow between the first port and a second port through the fluid path when a fluid pressure differential between the ports exceeds a predetermined threshold. Fluid flow occurs in a first direction from the first port to the second port through the fluid path when the shock valve is temporarily opened and fluid pressure in the first port is greater than the second port. Fluid flow occurs in a second, reverse direction through the fluid path from the second port to the first port when the shock valve is temporarily opened and fluid pressure in the second port is greater than the first port.
