Abstract: A series of 2-imino-6-methylhexahydropyrimidin-4-one derivatives, substituted in the 6-position by an arylphenyl or heteroarylphenyl moiety, being potent inhibitors of the growth and propagation of the Plasmodium falciparum parasite in human blood, are beneficial as pharmaceutical agents, especially in the treatment of malaria.

The implant includes tension member that couples the head member to the anchor member. The head member and the anchor member include a cannulation that receives the tension member therein. The implant may include a coupling member positioned between and coupling the head member and the anchor member, the coupling member including a cannulation that receives the tension member therethrough. Insertion instruments for inserting an implant for ligament fixation are also disclosed. Methods of using an implant for achieving ligament fixation are also disclosed.

Opposed sides of the shell are substantially triangular. A rear facet of the shell has a first angle that is complementary to a second angle defined by a rear surface of a passenger seat and a cargo bed of the vehicle. A front facet of the shell has a third angle that is complementary to a fourth angle defined by bottom and rear faces of the CSS. The shell is positionable between the passenger seat and the CSS to stabilize the CSS so that it can be securely fastened, using one or more straps, to anchors that are integral to the vehicle. The child safety device enables use of the CSS to transport a child in the cargo area.
