    Abstract: A system and method for lifting and translating extended length objects includes a power roller assembly attached to an extendable mast. When a roller on the power roller assembly contacts the outer surface of the extended length object, extension or retraction of the extendable mast enables lifting or lowering of the end of the extended length object. Rotation of the roller on the power roller assembly translates the position of the extended length object in a direction parallel to the long axis of the extended length object.
