Abstract: A method includes providing an image of at least a portion of an eye wearing a lens with a plurality of reference markings to a display device for display by the display device. The image includes at least a pupil of the eye and at least a subset of the plurality of reference markings. The method further includes receiving one or more of: a first user input regarding two or more periphery reference markings, a second user input regarding one or more angular reference markings, or a third user input for identifying a position reference point of the eye. The method also includes obtaining a lens surface profile that is determined based at least in part on the one or more of the first user input, the second user input, and the third user input.
