  • Patent number: 6464269
Abstract: A tamper resistant security device, a removal tool, and methods of engaging and disengaging the tamper resistant security device are provided. The tamper resistant security device includes a locking pin including a head, a shaft, and a groove, a locking cap comprising a blind hole, a groove formed inside and substantially coaxial with the blind hole, and a snap ring fitting within the groove and further capable of snapping into the groove of the locking pin. A protective cover includes a closure device cavity, a locking pin hole extending through the protective cover, a locking cap cavity, and an alignment hole. During assembly, the protective cover is placed over the closure device, the locking pin passes through the locking pin hole, and the locking cap is placed in the locking cap cavity and the snap ring of the locking cap is retained in the locking groove of the locking pin.

  • Patent number: 4904294
Abstract: A heat softened glass sheet is conveyed directly from a heating furnace onto an advancing conveyor belt which is supported on a scissor table. The glass sheet is advanced on the belt to a position below an upper press face. The scissor table increases the sag of the belt and the corresponding curved configuration of the supported glass sheet as it lifts the glass sheet into pressing engagement with the upper press face. During pressing, the glass sheet and belt generally conform to the shaping surface of the press face.

  • Patent number: 4218232
Abstract: In forming heat-softened sheets by the roll forming method, continuously moving sheets of heat-softenable material, such as glass sheets, are conveyed continuously by spaced rotating cylindrical rolls along a conveyer into a roll forming station, where a set of rotating shaping rolls move transversely upward between adjacent stationary cylindrical conveyor rolls to provide rolling engagement against the lower surface of each moving glass sheet in succession in spaced relation above the level of the path of travel defined by the stationary conveyor rolls for sufficient time to shape the sheets. The sets of rotating shaping rolls move the shaped sheet onto a conveyor that extends through a cooling station. The sheets are flat entering the roll forming station and shaped to a curved configuration on leaving the roll forming station. The upper surfaces of the sheets are not touched during said shaping.
