  • Publication number: 20140259101
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for inheriting a non-secure thread context. In the method, a first secure monitor call associated with a first non-secure thread of a non-secure environment of a processing system is received. A first secure thread is created, in response to the first secure monitor call, that inherits a first interrupt state of the first non-secure thread.

  • Patent number: 8714462
Abstract: A method of making a special track assembly for supporting a train, including providing a special track segment, and attaching a number of ribs made of a resilient material to exterior surfaces of the special track segment. Adjacent ones of the ribs are spaced apart from each other by predetermined distances to define gaps therebetween respectively. The method also includes attaching one or more wall portions of the resilient material to the ribs, for bridging each gap to at least partially define a number of cavities between the adjacent ribs respectively. Each wall portion is deflectable for dissipating energy transmitted by movement of the special track segment relative to the supporting material which supports the special track assembly.

  • Publication number: 20140084097
Abstract: A fixed spool fishing reel having a spool shaft with a coaxial hollow rotor shaft rotatable thereabout. The reel is further provided with a handle shaft which extends transversely of and is offset relative to the spool shaft. First and second mutually orthogonal gears are coupled for rotation with the handle shaft, the first gear having an axis of rotation which is transverse of and offset from the spool shaft. Likewise for third and fourth gears, with the third gear being on the opposite side of the spool shaft relative to the first gear. The axis of the third gear is closer to the spool than that of the first gear. Likewise the fourth is closer than the second. The rotor shaft can be driven by the handle shaft selectively via the first or the third gear to change the gearing ratio.

  • Publication number: 20120326945
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system, and computer program product for automatically assigning a display as a primary display in a multi-display computer. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for configuring a primary display in a multi-display environment is provided and can include tracking eye movements of an end user interacting with a multi-display computer. A display principally viewed by the end user , can be identified based upon the eye movements amongst at least two displays of the multi-display computing environment. Thereafter, the identified display can be configured as a primary display in the multi-display computing environment in response to determining that the end user has viewed the identified display for a threshold period of time.

  • Publication number: 20120266705
Abstract: A fixed spool fishing reel having a handle shaft connected to a handle to be rotated thereby and coupled to a bail arm drive of the wheel so that rotation of the handle shaft causes rotation of the bail arm. The handle shaft is coupled to the bail arm drive via a gear mechanism that enables the gear ratio between rotation of the handle shaft and rotation of the bail arm drive to be selectively altered. Also, a fixed spool fishing reel having a spool shaft and two gear wheels respectively on opposite sides of the spool shaft, both gear wheels being coupled to be driven by a rotary handle of the reel and both being selectable to be the one which drives a spool shaft oscillatory mechanism of the reel, the coupling between each of the said two gear wheels and the mechanism being via respective gearing arrangements to impart different respective ratios of handle rotary speed to oscillatory speed of the spool shaft.

  • Patent number: 7777577
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for controlling damping and bandwidth in a phase locked loop (PLL), a loop filter is configured to have a dual path for charge pump current. A 3 dB bandwidth of the PLL is controlled by adjusting gain of a proportional current path. An integral current path includes a gating circuit to digitally control an amount of time an integral charge pump current received is passed through as an effective integral charge pump current. A resistor and capacitor (RC) circuit filters the proportional and effective integral charge pump currents, thereby providing a filtered input to a voltage controlled oscillator. Damping and hence peaking of the PLL is precisely controlled by sampling one of every p samples of the integral charge pump current to provide the effective integral charge pump current, p being an integer.

  • Publication number: 20100013335
Abstract: The invention is directed to the method of utilizing unbalanced non-equilibrium magnetic fields to induce a rotational motion in a rotor, the rotor moves with respect to the armature and stator. The invention, a three (3) tier device (armature, rotor, and stator) has the armature and stator being fixed in position with the rotor allowed to move freely between the armature and stator. To induce a rotational motion, the rotor, in its concave side uses unbalanced non-equilibrium magnetic fields created by having multiple magnets held in a fixed position by ferritic or like materials to act upon the magnets imbedded in the armature. The rotor, in its convex side has additional unbalanced non-equilibrium magnets and additional pole pair magnets to create a magnetic flux that moves with the moving fixed position fields to cut across closely bonded coils of wire in the stator to induce a voltage and current that is used to generate electrical power.

  • Publication number: 20080300499
Abstract: This invention relates to non-invasive monitoring devices, in monitoring minute movements made by the body to report the presence or absence of respiration and normal heart rate. The movements being measured are the pulsations made by the normal operation of both the heart and lungs. This is accomplished by converting the body movements into electrical signals with an adapted polymorph-piezoelectric transducer. The electrical signal that is detected is a mixed signal, a signal composed of a lower frequency (breathing contraction) and the higher frequency (heart pulse). The signals are detected by separating the body motions by an adaptive filter that has a break frequency at twice the frequency of the larger body movement signal (breathing contraction). The separate body movement signals operate with associated logic circuitry to allow each signal to be independently measured, recorded, and acted upon to determine if the individual (patient) is undergoing a life threatening experience.
