  • Patent number: 11428033
Abstract: A pre-assembled fitting group for a window or door has a drive rod portion, which is movable in the rebate circumferential direction, a first control element, and a second control element which is arranged on a cross slide. The first and the second control elements cooperate and are coordinated with one another in such a way that a displacement of the first control element by the drive rod portion causes a displacement of the cross slide. A guide part that can be fixedly mounted on the sash, wherein the cross slide is at least partially movable relative to the guide part.

  • Publication number: 20220154507
Abstract: A fitting arrangement for a leaf of a sliding window or door that can be moved away in parallel, includes a control unit having a mounting part for fixing on the leaf and an adjusting part which is displaceable relative to the mounting part for moving the leaf away in parallel. A movement unit is fastened to the control unit and has an energy storage device and an activation element for the energy storage device. A closure arrangement for a building opening, includes a frame, the control unit and the adjusting part. The leaf which, in a closed position, can, by means of the control unit, be brought up to the frame and be moved away from the frame in parallel, so the leaf is displaceable along a guide rail of the frame. The movement unit supports an automatic movement of the leaf along the guide rail.

  • Publication number: 20210273598
Abstract: A solar module racking system comprises beams having a plurality of elongated solar modules spaced apart with intervening gap(s). The solar modules may be secured to the beams using a joint such as a key structure. Frames of the solar modules offer physical support to the racking assembly transverse to beam direction. Spacing the elongated solar modules in the racking system separated with intervening gaps, increases racking surface area overall. This results in a concomitant reduction in per-surface-area force necessary to secure the rack against wind and other forces. Racking system embodiments may be particularly suited to deploy solar panels upon large areas available in tilt-up roof configurations exhibiting reduced load-bearing capacity, that may be present in commercial buildings.

  • Publication number: 20160329860
Abstract: A variety of techniques may be employed alone or in various combinations, to track alignment of solar collectors with movement of the sun. One approach utilizes two or more piles offset from a single axis of tracking rotation, to provide foundational support. By allocating support between multiple foundational piles, such embodiments reduce the size of any individual pile needed to withstand accumulated torque from sources such as wind. Another approach utilizes an attachment feature to attach a panel to an underlying support arm. The attachment feature may be glued to a bottom surface of a collector panel, and locked into place on the support arm using sliders. Another approach focuses upon the arm structure itself, and the manner of its attachment to a torque tube of a single-axis tracker. Other approaches relate to techniques for stowing solar trackers, and field layout designs for solar trackers.
