Abstract: Electrophoresis is used to identify presence of a target compound in a patient sample based on a charge state of the compound and a label. The charge state of the compound correlates to a total net charge of a binder conjugated to the compound. The bound complex or “bound complex” with the label is then applied to the electrophoresis substrate. An electric potential is applied to the substrate for a time period and causes the labeled bound complex to migrate toward the electrode with opposite charge of the labeled bound complex at a migration velocity to form a migration pattern over the time period. At some time during or at the end of the time period, the labeled bound complex produces a bound complex band as a result of its migration across the substrate. The presence of the compound is identified based on the labeled bound complex band and one or both of the migration pattern and the migration velocity.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a hardtop for a vehicle that has an exterior thermoplastic roof panel and sides. The hardtop includes a top frame formed of at least two longitudinal sides and at least one cross vehicle piece formed from fiber reinforced polymer. Connected to the top frame is at least one roof panel forming an outer surface of the hardtop. There are also one or more side frames each having a side panel connected thereto. The roof panel and side panel are all formed of thermoplastic, so it is possible to have a Class A finish paint surface or mold in color finish.

Abstract: A video display system has a computing device for running a browser, a projector including a microprocessor and the projector for transferring setup preferences and for connecting to a networking library. The browser connecting to a first video content website that receives a user's first authentication data and the browser connecting to a second video content website that receives the user's second authentication data; and the projector storing the first and second authentication data during an initial setup step. The projector receives a first video stream link from the first website and a second video stream link from the second website, without inputting additional authentication data beyond the initial setup step. A control page presents an aggregation of the first website icon and a second website icon from which the user may select video programming.

The first screen environment is different from the second screen environment.

Abstract: A platform assembly that attaches to a shaft. The platform assembly includes a hub that is mounted in a fixed position. Cradle supports extend from the hub. The cradle supports define open troughs having open tops between opposing side surfaces. Support arms are provided that are connected to the cradle supports with pivot connections. The pivot connections enable the support arms to rotate between an open position and a folded position. In the open position, each of the support arms lay flush in the open troughs. In the folded position, each of the support arms are angled away from the open trough. A flexible panel is supported by the support arms. The flexible panel is held taut in a horizontal plane when the support arms are in their open positions. The flexible panel is folded and collapsed when the support arms are moved to their folded positions.

The lens also allows a portion of the light it receives from the light source to be transmitted therethrough, providing downlight from the light fixture. Thus, the light fixture provides both uplight and downlight while the light source is oriented downwards.

The system also includes one or more photodetectors for measuring the fluorescence, and a data acquisition system that detects the illuminated algal cells in the interrogation region. The data acquisition system controls the illuminators to provide specific timing and intensity conditions for stimulating to fluorescence, and acquires data from the one or more photodetectors to provide information of the algal cells. The system analyzes data at high speeds to allow it to sort cells based on fluorescence and scattering data.

The metadata indicates a characteristic of a web application user. The metadata collection identifies the user and may include metadata from other web applications. The advertisement is then characterized. For example, keywords may be associated with the advertisement. An affinity between the advertisement and the user is then determined and an indication of the affinity is recorded. When the affinity exceeds a predetermined threshold, the user may be identified as a potential target of the advertisement. The service provider may then identify the potential targets to the advertiser or provide the advertisement to the targets on behalf of the advertiser. The web application may be compensated for providing the metadata. The compensation may occur in response to the metadata resulting in identifying the user as a potential target.

An application gateway component exposes generic interfaces for different types of network applications allowing client application developers to utilize generic functionality. Client applications can invoke the generic interfaces, at which point the application gateway component can determine contextual information related to the end user. Using the contextual information, the application gateway component can perform late network binding to a network or web-based application or service by generating and transmitting a request thereto based at least in part on the generic interface invocation and user context. The contextual information can include explicit binding information or data that can be utilized to determine or infer binding preferences.
