  • Patent number: 4991335
Abstract: A triangular mobile has a pair of substantially identical non-creased walls connected with each other and a creased wall connected along fold-lines to the non-creased walls. A triangular plug is pivotally attached to one of the non-creased walls to be pivoted into engagement with a foldable stop carried by the other of the non-creased walls and the creased wall to support the triangular mobile in an open display position. The triangular plug includes a hanger for suspending the triangular mobile from an overhead support.

  • Patent number: 4839977
Abstract: Enclosed is an assemblage for displaying and dispensing a plurality of sheet-like materials, one at a time. The assemblage can be mounted in a variety of both hanging and cantilever modes. The assemblage includes one or more stacks of sheet-like materials fastened to a clip which is stamped from a unitary flat blank of resilient material. The clip includes a pair of opposed arms joined to an intermediate base section with lines of weakness, each forming a hinge connection. A rivet fastener connects the stacks of sheet-like materials to both arms, while allowing one arm to slide relative to the other, such that the assemblage may be moved between collapsed and expanded configurations. A head portion extends from the base section and includes a pair of opposed, resiliently hinged ears. The ears may be cupped to fit within a pricing channel at an edge of a store shelf to provide one mode of mounting.

  • Patent number: 4805331
Abstract: Apparatus for either display, or for both display and dispensing, is mounted to shelf tag molding directs customer attention to a featured item in a store as customers approach the area of a shelf on which the item can be found. The apparatus comprises a frame that is pivotally mounted into a bracket assembly which is rigidly secured to the shelf tag molding. The frame holds on either side of its surfaces, promotional material that presents a message to the approaching customers. The apparatus includes biasing springs which position the frame in a steady state location that is normal to the shelf tag molding. Whenever the frame is deflected from its steady state location by, for example, a customer or a shopping cart moving past and striking it, the biasing springs automatically return the frame to its steady state location. This ensures that the advertising message appearing on the promotional materials continually remains in direct view of approaching customers.

  • Patent number: 4541598
Abstract: A hanger for supporting a plurality of generally flat items, such as a pad of coupons, each of which has a mounting pole. The hanger is integral and formed of a generally flat resilient blank made of an extruded organic polymeric resin. The hanger comprises a head portion for mounting on a support structure, a lower portion for carrying the items and a stem interconnecting the head portion and the lower portion. The lower portion includes a pair of oppositely extending arms having adjacent connected ends and remote distal ends. The arms are deflectable from the plane of the blank together to form a shaft for projecting through the mounting holes in the items. The distal end of each arm has one oppositely extending barb-like projection for retaining the items on the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4307900
Abstract: A promotional coupon vehicle designed for display in association with a particular product line or for distribution by mail or other media to consumers. A first surface region illustrates the particular product and offers a discount on a purchase of the product line. A second surface region is delineated to receive and hold some portion of the packaging material of the product line. Adhesive carried by the second region facilitates attachment of the packaging material. The combination of the coupon vehicle and the attached packaging material is acceptable for a discount on the product line.

  • Patent number: 4016977
Abstract: An assemblage of sheetlike items for presentation for taking on a one-by-one basis, plus means for supporting it either from a price channel or against a wall. A flat support plate of flexible material includes a head section having a pair of ears formed therein and a base section. The lower edges of the ears are spaced from the upper edge a distance greater than the vertical dimension of a price channel so the ears snap over-center thereinto. The rear surface of the base section carries pressure-sensitive adhesive and a release liner. A pivot links the sheetlike items at a central location on the plate in vertical alignment with the region between the ears. When the head section is uppermost, the ears can be snapped into a price channel to support the items in depending relation therebelow. Rotating the plate so the base section is uppermost permits it to be attached by the adhesive to a vertical surface to stably support the depending items.

  • Patent number: 3945559
Abstract: A holder or the like for presenting an assemblage of items to be taken therefrom on a one-by-one basis including a foldable support sheet that can be attached to differently oriented surfaces. The sheet is composed of a lower main portion and an upper support portion including an attachment section and a connection section. Adhesive on the front surface of the attachment section and the rear surface of the connection section permits the connection section to be secured to the rear surface of the sheet and thus adapted for attachment to a forward-facing surface via the adhesive on said attachment section. The sheet can be folded differently and the holder attached to a pole or to a rearward-facing surface.
