The medical device can include a fluid delivery device and a plug holder (e.g., a plug delivery device) coupled to a distal end of the fluid delivery device. The medical device may be configured such that the delivery of fluid from the fluid delivery device wets the plug, ejects the plug from the plug holder, and pushes the plug through a lumen of an elongate tube to a void within a patient.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a messaging user interface of a message application, including a conversation transcript of a messaging session between a user of the electronic device and at least one other user, and a first message region that includes a current version of a first message in the messaging session. The conversation transcript includes an indication that the current version of the first message is a revised version of the first message in the conversation transcript. In response to detecting an input that corresponds to a request to see versions of the first message, the electronic device displays a versions user interface that includes the current version of the first message and one or more prior versions of the first message.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an apparatus and method of rapidly and efficiently cooling a liquid, wherein flow is induced via gravitational feed from a reservoir, through a cooling chamber, further in connection to a refrigerant source wherein said liquid exits through an inferior actuatable outlet and said refrigerant is released through an exit valve. Specifically, the present invention allows for the rapid cooling of an alcoholic liquid through contactless exposure a carbon dioxide refrigerant source whereby said liquid and refrigerant occupy separate, non-communicating chambers.

Abstract: A method for a privacy-aware transcription includes receiving audio-visual signal including audio data and image data for a speech environment and a privacy request from a participant in the speech environment where the privacy request indicates a privacy condition of the participant. The method further includes segmenting the audio data into a plurality of segments. For each segment, the method includes determining an identity of a speaker of a corresponding segment of the audio data based on the image data and determining whether the identity of the speaker of the corresponding segment includes the participant associated with the privacy condition. When the identity of the speaker of the corresponding segment includes the participant, the method includes applying the privacy condition to the corresponding segment. The method also includes processing the plurality of segments of the audio data to determine a transcript for the audio data.

Abstract: Techniques for live location sharing are described. A first mobile device and a second mobile device can communicate with one another using an IM program. The first mobile device can receive a user input to share a location of the first mobile device in the IM program. Sharing the location can include causing the second mobile device to display a location of the first mobile device in an IM program user interface on the second mobile device. Duration of sharing the location can be user-configurable. The second mobile device may or may not share a location of the second device for display in the IM program executing on the first mobile device.

Abstract: A computer system displays a representation of a field of view of the one or more cameras, including a representation of a portion of a three-dimensional physical environment that is in the field of view of the one or more cameras. The computer system receives a request to add a first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras. In response to receiving the request to add the first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras and in accordance with a determination that the first virtual effect requires a scan of the physical environment, the computer system initiates a scan of the physical environment to detect one or more features of the physical environment and displays a user interface that indicates a progress of the scan of the physical environment.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for storing a plurality of translation entries in a cache, each translation entry corresponding to one of a plurality of page table entries and defining a translation between a first address and a second address, and encoding control information indicative of an attribute of each page table entry; returning, in response to a lookup querying a first lookup address, a corresponding second address when the first lookup address corresponds to one of the plurality of translation entries stored in the cache; modifying at least some of the control information in response to notification of a modification of the attribute in a page table entry; and retaining in the cache at least one translation entry corresponding to the page table entry for use in a subsequent address lookup querying a corresponding first lookup address in response to the notification of the modification of the attribute in the page table entry.

Abstract: Several solutions are described for making it easier to move a surgical robotics patient table, either from rest or to turn it. The table has a base, a support, and a table top on which the patient is supported. A number of casters are mounted to a body of the base. In one case, controllable jacks lift the body to release the casters thereby allowing them to swivel to a desired orientation. In another case, a drive assembly is rotatably coupled to the body of the base and includes an electric drive motor and a drive wheel to drive the table across the floor. Other aspects are also described and claimed.

The objects are made interactive in the image or in every frame of the video that they appear. The creator embeds information behind the image or video objects that appears when a viewer hovers over, clicks or touches the object, allowing the creator to describe at least one object that appears in an image or video. A hyperlink is associated with a clickable space around the object in the image or in every frame that the object appears in. Rights to the hyperlink and what data the hyperlink connects to are electronically auctioned to e-commerce sites where the object may be purchased.

Abstract: The recognition of a frame synchronization pattern or unique word of a received signal may be enhanced using a data-aided estimator of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) together with a correlation detector of the unique word to be received. Detecting a frame synchronization pattern or a unique word in a received signal, the SNR is estimated on the received signal with a data-aided SNR estimator using the unique word to be received. If the estimated SNR exceeds a certain threshold, an eventual recognition of the unique word established by a correlation correlator of the receiver is considered reliable. Comparing the SNR with the threshold may be carried out either before or after the correlator has processed the unique word.

Abstract: A method for determining a fan speed for a fan used to cool a payload is disclosed. The method includes, according to various embodiments, receiving a first signal indicative of a first fan speed and receiving a second signal indicative of a system temperature. The method further includes selecting a temperature setpoint based on the first fan speed and, based on a comparison of the system temperature and the selected temperature setpoint, computing a first fan speed output. A thermal management system and method for determining a speed-setpoint droop characteristic are also disclosed.
