  • Patent number: 11897070
Abstract: A method and apparatus to provide a machining table in which an article can be secured to the table. The table provides a plurality of clamp blocks which can be placed on the table in custom positions. The orientation of the clamp blocks can also be adjusted by adjustments bolts so that the desired angle of the article can be maintained before machining it. As such, a round article (e.g., a pipe) can be secured through the clamp blocks so that the article can be machined. The table would secure the article such that even a lot of force or pressure on the article would not cause the article to move.

  • Patent number: 10934054
Abstract: A container system has a plurality of separable interlocking vessels. Each of the vessels defines a separately sealed volume. Each of the vessels has an outlet. One of the plurality of the vessels is an upper vessel and one of the plurality of vessels is a lower vessel. The outlet of the upper vessel is the lowermost portion of the upper vessel and is disposed to one side of the upper vessel. The outlet of the lower vessel is the uppermost portion of the lower vessel and is disposed to one side of the lower vessel.

  • Patent number: 6920056
Abstract: A dual input AC/DC power converter (10) having dual inputs (12,14) adapted to receive both an AC and DC input and provide a selectable DC voltage output (16) and a second DC output (18). The dual input AC/DC power converter (10) comprises a power converter circuit (20) having an AC-to-DC converter (22), a DC-to-DC booster converter (24), a feedback circuit (26), a filter circuit (25) and a DC-to-DC buck converter (28). Advantageously, the power converter (10) resolves many of the system management problems associated with carrying all of the different interface components necessary to power a wide variety of mobile products from either an AC or DC power supply. In addition, the feedback circuit (26) comprises single feedback loop having stacked photocouplers, one (PH1) controlling the AC-to-DC converter (22) and the other (PH3) controlling the DC-to-DC booster converter (24), to select the overall DC output voltage.

  • Publication number: 20050126578
Abstract: A pulmocardiac assistance apparatus is disclosed for use in the medical technology field to provide expiratory and inspiratory functionality to patients with respiratory disorders. The pulmocardiac assistance device of the present invention functions to collect body response feedback and manages this feedback to achieve an optimum response. The device includes an integrated set of pressure cuffs for pressuring different parts of the body in accordance with a predetermined sequence to induce the patient to breathe out or expire air from the lungs or to even produce an assisted cough, as well as to promote circulation of blood from the extremities of the body to the head. The pulmocardiac assistance device further includes a programmable logic controller which accepts inputs from sensors (e.g. patient temperature, blood gas concentrations, arterial pH level) and makes calculations to control both ventilator and pressure cuffs.

  • Patent number: 6751109
Abstract: A dual input battery assisted power converter (10) which provides a continuous, regulated DC voltage output to a user-connected mobile device, such as, a lap top computer or a cell phone, for example. The power converter (10) comprises a power supply circuit (12) and a separate, detachable power storage circuit comprising a battery pack (14) having a re-chargeable battery (36). The power supply (12) is adapted to deliver a pair of regulated DC output voltages, of opposite voltage potentials, to a pair of respective output terminals. Preferably these output voltages are derived from two external input voltages: an AC input voltage and a DC input voltage. Advantageously, if both of the external input voltages are temporarily removed, the battery pack (14) will advantageously serve as a substitute DC input power source, thereby allowing the power supply (12) to deliver the same regulated DC output voltage to the user-connected mobile device without interruption.

  • Patent number: 6550878
Abstract: An overhead storage device includes a storage container that is pivotably or rotatably mounted to an overhead surface, such as a ceiling or a plurality of rafters. The storage container is generally moved by a motorized actuator assembly. The motorized actuator assembly can comprise a worm drive and follower nut arrangement or a flexible transmitter and spool assembly. The storage container is supported by a frame assembly and is secured to the frame assembly generally at an end of the storage container. The overhead storage device is sized to allow a motor vehicle to fit below a raised storage container in an average height garage. The storage container is assembled from two generally identical halves that are nestable for shipping and storage.
