  • Patent number: 8002202
Abstract: An air brush marker includes a marker barrel having a first end and a second end, with a pump disposed at the first end of the marker barrel and a hollow nib disposed at the second end that is configured to absorb ink. A filter is disposed within the marker barrel, is configured to absorb ink and is positioned in contact with the nib. A tube is disposed within the marker barrel and provides an air passage extending from the pump to the nib. The pump is configured to supply a burst of air through the tube and the nib such that ink particles are sprayed out of the marker at the second end in a generally dispersed pattern.

  • Publication number: 20060016548
Abstract: A manufacturing method for window blinds with patterns, comprises the following procedures: Manufacturing transfer film with patterns; Usage of a transfer printing machine that combines said transfer film and window blind vane base materials and then heat them to 100˜200° C. under pressure 5˜8 kg/cm2; Separate said transfer film and window blinds vane with patterns on said transfer film transferred onto said vanes base materials to obtain window blinds vane with patterns. Compared with the existing technology, the present invention has the following technical effects: patterns are transferred to window blinds vane by transfer to obtain various colorful patterns with fresh colors and good visual effects; Colors will not fade for a long period of time in use and the vane is easy to clean; High productivity.

  • Patent number: 6217245
Abstract: A writing instrument is manufactured in a unique manner by the application of three layers of materials which provide an overall partially transparent and iridescent glitter coated pen or pencil configuration. The main body can be of plastic or wood and has a base coat of a relatively dark colorant such as a lacquer paint applied to the barrel of the writing instrument. A layer of wood and plastic adhesive preferably of a resin-type adhesive such as polyvinyl acrylic adhesive is then applied over the base colorant coat and glitter is deposited thereon preferably at a thickness of only one glitter particle. This glitter is preferably relatively small being approximately 0.08 millimeters in particle size and is preferably electrostatically deposited onto the glue or adhesive layer prior to curing thereof.

  • Patent number: 5895160
Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating the manufacture of various different configurations of marking instruments which utilizes a uniquely configured nib holder which includes a media transfer channel therethrough along with a nib mounting ring and securement prong or finger apparatus for facilitating the mounting and retaining of a marking nib therewithin. A conventional marker barrel being generally tubular with end openings is included which can be used for forming either single or double ended marking pens which share a common marking media reservoir or have different media used therewith. The nib mounting ring of the nib holder is designed to orient the nib centrally within the media transfer channel at the nib holder and the securement prongs are adapted to abut and grip the nib holder for retaining in position therethrough and preferably in abutment with respect to a conventional generally fibrous marking media reservoir.
