  • Patent number: 8225285
Abstract: Provided are techniques for generating a test suite. A statement grouping is generated based on operating parameters in a first operating parameters package. A data model is generated from the statement grouping based on operating parameters in a second operating parameters package. Then, one or more routine definitions are generated from the data model based on operating parameters in a third operating parameters package.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 17, 2012
    Assignee: International Business Machines Corporation
Inventors: David Richard Godwin, Ciby Mathew
  • Patent number: 7793267
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for performing software testing. A first set of traces is compressed to form a first set of compressed traces. The first set of compressed traces is compared to a plurality of additional traces to identify a set of partially matching traces within the plurality of additional traces. The first set of traces is compressed to form a second set of compressed traces. The second set of compressed traces is compressed according to a technique such that the second set of compressed traces contains more information than the first set of compressed traces. The second set of compressed traces is compared to the set of partially matching traces to identify a second set of partially matching traces within the set of partially matching traces. The second set of partially matching traces is placed in a memory.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 13, 2006
Date of Patent: September 7, 2010
    Assignee: International Business Machines Corporation
Inventors: Matthew Davison, Mechelle Sophia Gittens, David Richard Godwin, Nazim H. Madhavji, Andriy Vladimir Miranskyy, Mark Francis Wilding
  • Patent number: 7680782
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for automatically generating a query. Data and occurrence is described using a sequence type. The data and occurrence from the sequence type are matched to a sequence type pattern. Sentences in a query language are generated automatically using the sequence type pattern for testing an ability of a query processing engine to interpret queries.

  • Patent number: 6561593
Abstract: A locking hub is adapted to connect a wheel to an axle such that the wheel will rotate on the axle. The wheel includes an opening with a pair of retaining ledges extending out into the opening. The locking hub includes a body defining a bore adapted to receive the axle. The bore has a longitudinal axis. The body defines a first slot disposed in a reference plane that intersects the longitudinal axis of the bore. A clip is disposed in the slot with a portion of the clip disposed in the bore and adapted to engage the axle. The body defines a slot adapted to lockingly receive the retaining ledges of the wheel to lock the hub to the wheel.
