    Abstract: A multi-zone heater with a plurality of thermocouples such that different heater zones can be monitored for temperature independently. The independent thermocouples may have their leads routed out from the shaft of the heater in a channel that is closed with a joining process that results in hermetic seal adapted to withstand both the interior atmosphere of the shaft and the process chemicals in the process chamber. The thermocouple and its leads may be enclosed with a joining process in which a channel cover is brazed to the heater plate with aluminum.

The integration unit is configured to operatively couple and de-couple the pre-concentrator unit and the cassette. The pre-concentrator unit and the lateral flow assay unit disposed in the cassette are in a fluidic communication in a coupled form. The device for rapid detection of TB-LAM further comprises a dilutor unit.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electrostatic chuck with multiple chucking electrodes made of ceramic pieces using metallic aluminum as the joining. The aluminum may be placed between two pieces and the assembly may be heated in the range of 770 C to 1200 C. The joining atmosphere may be non-oxygenated. After joining the exclusions in the electrode pattern may be machined by also machining through one of the plate layers. The machined exclusion slots may then be filled with epoxy or other material. An electrostatic chuck or other structure manufactured according to such methods.

The computing device is configured to store a biometric identifier associated with a transaction account. The computing device is configured to at least receive, by the antenna, an interrogation signal from a point of sale (POS) device in order to activate the payment device for a payment transaction. The computing device is configured to determine a scanned fingerprint identifier of a user based at least in part on the interrogation signal activating the payment device and authenticate the scanned fingerprint identifier by matching the scanned fingerprint identifier to the biometric identifier. The transaction account is transmitted to the POS device for processing the payment transaction based at least in part on the authentication of the scanned fingerprint identifier.

A scanned biometric identifier of the first user is received. The first user is authenticated by matching the scanned biometric identifier to the first biometric identifier. The transponder is activated in response to matching the scanned biometric identifier to the first biometric identifier. The first transaction account is transmitted to a point of sale (POS) device for processing the payment transaction based on the first biometric identifier being linked with the first transaction account.

The workstation can be operated to retain particles from the fluid via the acoustic wave and provide a new fluid media to the retained particles. Following processing, the consumable portion can be removed and discarded.
