  • Publication number: 20180309275
Abstract: A cable tray accessory section that is manually bendable allowing it to easily bend over or under obstructions, such as ceiling beams and pipes. The bendable cable tray comprises a plurality of cross members combined by first and second longitudinal side members. The cross members are not combined by any other means thereby allowing the first and second longitudinal members to be easily bent in the field by the user to a desired configuration. The bendable cable tray section is adapted to connect at each end to another cable tray or accessory section. In some embodiments the bendable tray section starts with one end at a particular elevation, bends over or under an obstruction, then returns the second end to the original elevation. In other embodiments the bendable tray section starts with one end at a particular elevation then bends along its length (typically upward or downward) so that the second end is positioned at a different elevation.

  • Patent number: 9819163
Abstract: A flexible cable tray adapted to connect to cable tray sections. The flexible cable tray includes a base and flexible side walls, all of which are bendable to be adapted to support and guide cables to and from their intended locations through intersections, over beams and/or under beams, and may also be used as a vertical offset. The side walls may be laid flat to the base to enable easy shipment or bent inwardly to provide further support for the cables.

  • Patent number: 9184578
Abstract: A cable tray accessory section adapted to combine two or more sections of a cable tray system. The cable tray accessory section includes a base and side walls adapted to removably combine with each other via a locking tab connection means. The ends of the accessory section combine with the cable tray sections by weaving flexible members between cross members of the tray sections.

  • Publication number: 20150078809
Abstract: A wire cable tray splice and support device that can be used splice to wire cable trays together to generate a substantially continuous series of wire cable trays. Various embodiments of the present invention can splice wire cable trays together that the ends of two wire cable trays, or can be used to support a set of wire cable trays from a structure above the wire cable trays, or can be used o mount a series of wire cable trays together along the surface of a vertical wall.

  • Publication number: 20110214776
Abstract: A cable tray constructed of longitudinal members welded to U-shaped transverse members that are made from wires having an arcuate but non-circular cross section that are oriented to allow electromagnetic conductors to rest upon an arcuate surface that does not include angular vertices that might damage the electromagnetic conductors residing within the cable tray.
