Abstract: A device and a method for manufacturing said device, the device comprising an applicator member and a flexible retention web (1) intended to be introduced into a vaginal cavity (17), said web being equipped with a means (7) for removal and being made from an a traumatic material whereof the dimensions are adapted so as to be able to retain and/or slow down bodily discharges of small quantity, characterized in that: —the applicator member comprises a body (8) that is at least partially hollow defining an internal storage volume (9), said body having a proximal end (10) on the one hand, and on the other hand, a distal end (11) intended to be inserted into the vaginal cavity of a user, said distal end having an open section emerging in the internal volume, —the web comprises a central zone (13) housed in the internal volume, and at least one peripheral zone (14) protruding from the body so as to cover at least the distal end of the body.

Abstract: A kit for introducing an intragastric implant. The kit comprises an intragastric implant for implanting in the stomach. The implant is expandable from a configuration for introduction into the stomach to a therapeutic configuration within the stomach. The kit further includes a cartridge for packaging said implant in the introduction configuration. The cartridge is provided with an opener member activatable by positive action enabling it to depart from a closed configuration. The cartridge includes locking means functionally connected to the opener member and capable on its own, without any external action on said locking means of holding the cartridge in the closed configuration. The intragastic implant may be used for treating obesity.

Abstract: The invention relates to a set for introducing a plastic surgery implant into patient body comprising a plastic surgery implant to be implanted into a patient body, said implant is embodied in such a way that it is deformable, thereby enabling it to change the shape thereof from a shape used for introduction into the body into a functional shape inside said body, a case which envelops said implant in the introducing shape thereof and is provided with an opening unit activateable by a positive action, thereby enabling it to change the closed shape thereof when it confines the implant in the introducing shape into an open shaped when it makes it possible to shape said implant in to the functional shape thereof.
