The release agent composition includes lecithin in combination with a dispersing agent, particularly a propylene based glycol ether, a propylene based glycol ether acetate, an ethylene based glycol ether, or an ethylene based glycol ether acetate and mixtures thereof. The lecithin and dispersing agent are mixed with water to form an aqueous dispersion for application to surfaces.

    Abstract: An improved training cartridge has a plastic case skeletonized at its leading portion and defining a powder chamber at its trailing portion closed by an integral forward wall. The location of the wall is preselected to tailor the internal volume of the powder chamber to substantially equal that of the quantity of propellant charge employed by the cartridge so as to retain the charge in a fixed position in the chamber adjacent the primer. The configuration can either include a plastic bullet for training with projectiles having limited (reduced) range, or be made without a bullet, for those training exercises requiring blanks.

    Abstract: A shot charge and wad structure includes a thick-walled plastic shot wad cup having integrally connected base and continuous sidewall portions which together define a shot pocket with an open end for receiving and supporting a charge of shot. The structure also includes a shot pellet charge in the shot pocket composed of tungsten and having a hardness generally at least equal to that of the gun barrel in which a shotshell containing the pellets is to be fired. An insert disk is disposed in the pocket below and in supporting relation to the charge of shot pellets in the pocket. The disk is composed of a material, such as aluminum, having a hardness sufficient to prevent any of the pellets in the charge thereof from embedding therein or in the base portion. Instead, the charge cleanly separates from the pocket of the cup upon firing of a shotshell containing the charge. The shot pocket can be either generally square or circular in cross-section.

    Abstract: An improved auto-fire assembly for an industrial gun of 8 gauge or larger which releases the trigger of the gun in response to the breech block of the gun being fully placed in closed breeching position.The mechanism presented provides a trip arm to be contacted by the industrial gun operating lever, with the trip arm on a shaft rotatably mounted on the stop bracket limiting breech opening. The resultant simplified structure enables easy modification of existing lanyard operated guns to include autofire capability.
