  • Patent number: 11968334
Abstract: Described herein is a multi-user retail photo kiosk system that includes multiple touch screen and Graphic User Interface (GUI) controlled consumer photo editing, photo print and product selection, and photo order placement terminals and multiple photo printers. The user photo kiosk terminals can receive images. Billing and payment is accomplished using barcoded receipts provided at the user terminal for payments for purchased photo products. A printer array incorporating various printers capable of producing prints or various sizes and formats can be configured as a horizontal counter or as a vertical tower and includes means to alert the user that their photo print order is complete. In addition, the system automatically notifies operators if equipment service, maintenance, media refilling, and/or post printing finishing procedures are required.

  • Patent number: 11957894
Abstract: A neuromodulation therapy is delivered via at least one electrode implanted subcutaneously and superficially to a fascia layer superficial to a nerve of a patient. In one example, an implantable medical device is deployed along a superficial surface of a deep fascia tissue layer superficial to a nerve of a patient. Electrical stimulation energy is delivered to the nerve through the deep fascia tissue layer via implantable medical device electrodes.

  • Patent number: 4991169
Abstract: A dual digital signal processor (DSP) provides real time links between multiple time division channels of a digital carrier system (e.g. T-1) and a host data processor. Operating only on digital signals, internally and at its interfaces to the carrier and host systems, the DSP exchanges data and control signalling information with the carrier system and data and control information with the most processor, converting the data in passage to different digital forms. At the interface to the carrier system, signals are received and transmitted in a form adapted to diverse terminal equipment of users remotely linked to the carrier system via the switched public network. At the host interface, signals are transferred and received in a form suited to the data process requirements of the host system (e.g. data bytes directly representing alphanumeric characters). Thus, the DSP acts as the equivalent of multiple different types of modems in performing required conversions.

  • Patent number: 4941644
Abstract: A valve stem formed by evaporative pattern (or lost foam) casting a hollow or solid rod member inside of the elongated outer member. Since the stem is thereby cast to near net shape, little machining is required to finish it. The elongated member can have on its outer surface coarse square threads, a thrust ring, a flattened transition and a retaining nut threaded end. The rod member can advantageously be made of a material that is stronger and less expensive than that of the copper base alloy of the elongated member.

  • Patent number: 4432438
Abstract: A four-stage upright having a fixed upright section, three telescopic upright sections, and a load carrier mounted on the inner telescopic section includes a first asymmetric lift cylinder assembly located in the upright off-center and adjacent to one side of the upright and a second asymmetric lift cylinder assembly mounted in the upright off-center and adjacent to the opposite side of the upright. The first cylinder assembly is supported from one of the telescopic upright sections and is operatively connected to the load carrier, while the second lift cylinder assembly is supported from the fixed upright section and is operatively connected to the three telescopic upright sections. The first cylinder assembly is, when collapsed, approximately one-half the height of the collapsed upright, and the second cylinder assembly is, when collapsed, approximately equal to the height of the collapsed upright.

  • Patent number: 4421208
Abstract: A triple-stage upright having a fixed upright section, two telescopic upright sections, and a load carrier mounted on the inner telescopic section. A first asymmetric lift cylinder assembly is located in the upright off-center and adjacent to one side of the upright and a second asymmetric lift cylinder assembly is mounted in the upright off-center and adjacent to the opposite side of the upright. Both cylinder assemblies are supported from a common base, one of the cylinders being operatively connected to the load carrier, and the other lift cylinder being operatively connected to both telescopic upright sections. The lift cylinder which is connected to the load carrier is, when collapsed, approximately one-half the height of the collapsed upright, and the other lift cylinder assembly is, when collapsed, approximately equal to the height of the collapsed upright.
