Abstract: The present disclosure relates to ceramic coatings containing particles for use in smelting devices and to methods of making ceramic coatings containing particles for use in smelting devices. More particularly, the disclosure relates to ceramic coatings comprising particles for improved heat reflection and durability of the ceramic coating.

Abstract: A test strip that provides rapid detection device of a target substance includes a preconditioned, chemically impregnated membrane, that when placed in contact with suspect liquid, undergoes a chemical reaction that results in a visual indication of the presence of target substance. In an embodiment, the formulation to be applied to the membrane includes: alcohol oxidase of 0.001 to 1.00 wt. %, formaldehyde dehydrogenase of 0.01 to 1.00 wt. %, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide of 0.001 to 1.00 wt. %, diaphorase or phenazine methosulfate of 0.00001% to 1.00 wt. %, and tetranitro blue of 0.001 to 1.00 wt. %.
