  • Patent number: 11926946
Abstract: A method of reinforcing a seam on a body involves folding a seam allowance into a series of accordion folds to form a series of parallel reinforcement layers. The parallel reinforcement layers are of similar size and form a ridge. A ridge cap of flexible material is placed over the ridge. The ridge cap provides at least one further parallel reinforcement layer. The method involves securing the ridge cap and parallel reinforcement layers together with rows of stitching, with the stitching extending through all of the parallel reinforcement layers.

  • Publication number: 20230077971
Abstract: A virtual meeting system is discussed herein. An online meeting application can provide a parallel virtual meeting between or among two or more participants of a main virtual meeting. The parallel virtual meeting permits two or more participants of the main virtual meeting to have a “smaller-sized” meeting in parallel with the main virtual speaker or presentation while still participating in the main virtual meeting. Therefore, the participants of the parallel virtual meeting do not have to connect via another device or application and can avoid disrupting the main virtual meeting. The parallel virtual meeting can permit two separate meetings, such as one meeting with all participants and one meeting with a subset of all the participants.

  • Patent number: 11502861
Abstract: A virtual meeting system is discussed herein. An online meeting application places participants in their own virtual location with a common virtual meeting space and adjusts the audio volume and balance on a listener's device to simulate the virtual location of the participant who is speaking. The application includes a trigonometric function to adjust the audio volume and balance based on the location of the listener relative to the speaker. The application can also permit the participants to select their own virtual locations upon entry to the virtual meeting, can assign a virtual location or adjust audio based on a participant's settings, or can allow for parallel meetings.

  • Patent number: 11212117
Abstract: A validation record chain that is generated for a particular version of a software package may be used to verify the legitimacy of the particular version. A hash that is generated by a software building platform for a particular version of a software package is received. A validation record chain for the particular version is then generated that includes a plurality of certificates such that a first certificate in the validation record chain contains the hash, and each of one or more subsequent certificates is signed with a corresponding hash signature of a corresponding certifier application and contains a prior hash signature of a previous certificate in the validation record chain. The validation record chain is stored for validation of the particular version of the software package via the plurality of certificates.

  • Patent number: 10736686
Abstract: A surgical instrument for treating body tissues through narrow body passages employs an elongated cantilevered beam having a proximal end supported in a rigid block and a narrower distal end extendable through the narrow passages. One or more piezoelectric actuators are fixed to the beam surface and energized from an AC source provided by an electrical excitation system through electrodes interspersed with the piezoelectric actuators to produce oscillatory motion of the beam distal end in multiple modes of movement.
