  • Publication number: 20240130470
Abstract: An article of footwear with a heel region including a posterior end of the article of footwear, a mid-foot region, and a forefoot region including an anterior end of the article of footwear; a lateral side, and a medial side opposite the lateral side; an upper; and a sole structure coupled to the upper. The sole structure has a midsole with a first cushioning element extending from the posterior end to the anterior end; a second cushioning element extending from the mid-foot region to the posterior end, the second cushioning element being formed of a different material than the first cushioning element; and a shell with a plurality of circumferentially-spaced apart protrusions, wherein each of the plurality of protrusions is directly coupled to the second cushioning element.

  • Publication number: 20240091843
Abstract: A manipulator for components, in particular sheet metal parts, includes a base body mountable stationarily or movable along a guide arrangement, a first pivot arm pivotally coupled to the base body via a horizontal first pivot axis, a second pivot arm pivotally coupled to the first pivot arm via a horizontal second pivot axis and a third pivot arm pivotally coupled to the second pivot arm via a horizontal third pivot axis. A first axis of rotation extending radially to the third pivot axis is formed on the third pivot arm. A gripper support arm is rotatably coupled to the third pivot arm via the first axis of rotation and extends radially to the first axis of rotation. A gripping arrangement is rotatably coupled to the gripper support arm via a second axis of rotation spaced from the first axis of rotation. A bending installation includes the manipulator.

  • Patent number: 6359612
Abstract: An imaging system for displaying image information that has been acquired by a medical diagnostic imaging device, has at least one projection surface, to which a projection device is allocated for purposes of reproducing image information on the projection surface. For controlling the reproduction of the image information, an optical detector detects gestures of an operator, and a control unit evaluates the output data of the detector for controlling the reproduction of the image information.

  • Patent number: 5719498
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for obtaining a magnetic resonance image from a number of slices of an examination subject, a survey image is generated perpendicular to desired slices which are to be imaged, and the desired slices are graphically positioned within the survey image. A three-dimensional data set is then obtained which includes the desired slices, and the desired slices are reconstructed from the three-dimensional data set, thereby obtaining image data. An image of the desired slices is then displayed using the image data.

  • Patent number: 5517117
Abstract: For shortening the measuring time to obtain an image identifying blood flow in a subject using magnetic resonance imaging, the number of phase-coding steps is reduced compared to a number of steps required for generating a quadratic observation window, given a constant, maximum amplitude of the phase-coding gradient. The reduction is to such an extent that only the blood vessel under observation is essentially acquired in phase-coding direction. Neighboring regions are saturated in order to avoid image artifacts. Given a correspondingly low number of phase-coding steps, a measurement of blood flow is possible in real-time presentation or, given an ECG triggered measuring sequence, a measurement of blood flow is possible in a greatly shortened overall measuring time.

  • Patent number: 5206591
Abstract: For obtaining data in phase contrast MR angiography, which data is sensitive to flow in a sample in three-orthogonal directions, a sequence with four steps is applied to a sample. In the first step, spins are flow encoded with a positive polarity in all three directions. During the three further steps, flow encoding is inverted in one direction and kept positive in all other directions, with the direction having the inverted polarity being different in all three of the further steps. A raw data set for each of the directions is obtained by complex subtraction of the signals obtained by one of the further steps and of the signals obtained by the first step.
