Patent number: 11599538Abstract: Techniques for associating a selected search result, for a current query, with a recently executed prior query are disclosed. The system receives a first query from a user and presents a first set of search results. The system receives a second query from the user, subsequent to presenting the first set of search results, and presents a second set of search results. The system determines that a user selects a particular search result from the second set of search results. The system determines an association between the first query and the second query. Responsive to determining that the user selected the particular search result and the association between the first query and the second query, the system associates the particular search result with the first query. Subsequently, the system receives a new request for execution of the first query and, in response, presents at least the particular search result.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2020Date of Patent: March 7, 2023Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Laney Jude Silveira, Richard Herbert Miller, Allison Marie Wayne, Kathleen Maguire Candland, Carmen Ximena D'Arlach

Publication number: 20200280932Abstract: In a wireless communication between a mobile controller and a controllable device, the device periodically broadcasts, at a relatively low power level, a first advertisement packet for connecting the controllable device to a mobile controller. Once a connection has been established between the device and the controller, the controller and the device exchange their respective identifiers (IDs). In the event that the connection becomes broken, the device starts to additionally periodically broadcast, at a relatively high power level, a second advertisement packet containing the device ID for reconnecting the device to the controller. Upon receipt of the second packet, the controller requests receipt of a message containing the controller ID and, upon receipt of that message, resumes the connection with the device. The device then stops the broadcast of the second advertisement packet.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2018Publication date: September 3, 2020Applicant: Dyson Technology LimitedInventors: Alan DOWN, Timothy David HUTT, Laurence Charles Richard HERBERT, Matthew HAZLEY, Alex James LAYTON, Matthew Nicholas ARANHA, Daniele PIETROBELLI

Publication number: 20150252644Abstract: A subsea connector with a connection point between the Lower Workout Riser Package and the Upper Workout Riser Package which would facilitate access to the well under full wellbore pressure. There is provided a primary collet to connect the two halves of well subsea connector together. The connector further comprises 32 hydraulic couplers that allow control of the LWRP, Subsea tree and downhole functions. The connector of the present invention can be configured for electrical interface for tree and downhole function control if required. In the present invention, the connector allows for a controlled disconnect for emergency situations that will shut in all LWRP isolations valves, blow out preventor (BOP) rams and subsea tree valves, leaving the well secure. The subsea connector also allows for easy reconnection to the LWRP and control of the tree once the situation necessitating the disconnection is resolved.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2013Publication date: September 10, 2015Inventors: Richard Herbert Lee, Larry Glenn Klentz

Publication number: 20030194995Abstract: A method and system that broadcasts different messages into different geographic areas based on the appropriateness, desirability or necessity of broadcasting each messages to each area is disclosed. In particular, the illustrative embodiment of the present invention is a wireless telecommunications system that uses a portion of its spare bandwidth to broadcast messages to the receivers within its domain. The content of the messages can represent advertising, public service announcements, weather and stock reports, etc. One aspect of the illustrative embodiment is that the domain serviced by it is partitioned into a plurality of tessellated areas called “geographic regions.” From a single broadcast server, the various messages to be broadcast are broadcast not to the entire domain of the system, but to only those geographic regions within the domain where the content of those messages is appropriate, necessary or desirable.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2003Publication date: October 16, 2003Applicant: Lucent Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Kevin Burke Handerson, Paul C.
