    Abstract: An arrangement for the lowering and lifting of a window of a motor vehicle door which includes a window lifter mechanism with a driving motor and an operating switch; for improving the closing operation of the vehicle door, particularly with regard to noise, the driving motor is adapted to be influenced by a control installation in such a manner that preferably during the opening of the door the window is displaced into a lowered position and after completion of the closing of the door is again raised into its upper end position.

    Abstract: A theft-prevention system for a motor vehicle wherein at least one cylinder lock having a closing cylinder and a switching mechanism that is relatively translatable with respect to the closing cylinder for actuating and deactuating the cylinder lock is engageable by a first key which is able to actuate and deactuate only the cylinder lock, and a second key which is engageable with the cylinder lock for actuating and deactuating both the closing cylinder and at least one auxiliary system for deterring the theft of the vehicle. Actuation of the auxiliary system by the second key engages a locking mechanism preventing operation of the cylinder lock.

    Abstract: A theft protection arrangement for motor vehicles which includes a lock system having a main key and an auxiliary key. Electrical contact switches are operatively associated with at least one of a vehicle door, a vehicle hood, and a vehicle lid for monitoring the conditions thereof. An electrical switching apparatus operatively connects the electrical contact switches with the lock system such that, during an unauthorized entry of the vehicle door, vehicle hood, or vehicle lid, an alarm system is activated and/or parts of the vehicle necessary for a driving operation are disconnected.
