  • Publication number: 20240151677
Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for sensing fluids. A fluid sensor is configured to analyze a fluid utilizing impedance spectroscopy. Capacitive impedance of fluids is sensed and measured. Inductive impedance of suspended particles in fluids is measured. An electrochemical fingerprint of the properties of the fluid or of the particles within the fluid is generated. Fluid analytics data is generated from sensor signal data of the fluids under test. Trainable artificial intelligence algorithms are used to generate fluid analytics data.

  • Publication number: 20240094238
Abstract: A MEMS accelerometer system can include a proof mass device having a proof mass configured to move from an initial position in response to an input acceleration, a transducer operatively connected to the proof mass device to output a transducer signal correlating to a movement and/or position of the proof mass, a driver operatively connected to the proof mass device and configured to drive the proof mass, and a controller operatively connected to the driver to control the driver. The controller is operatively connected to the transducer to receive the transducer signal and output a drive signal to the driver to drive the proof mass toward an initial position. The system can include an observer module operatively connected to the controller to receive the drive signal. The observer module can be operatively connected to the transducer to receive the transducer signal.

  • Publication number: 20230309013
Abstract: Power management for remote units in a wireless distribution system. Power can be managed for a remote unit configured to power modules and devices that may require more power to operate than power available to the remote unit. For example, the remote unit may be configured to include power-consuming remote unit modules to provide communication services. As another example, the remote unit may be configured to provide power through powered ports in the remote unit to power-consuming devices. Depending on the configuration of the remote unit, the power-consuming remote unit modules and/or power-consuming devices may demand more power than is available at the remote unit. In this instance, the power available at the remote unit can be distributed to the power-consuming modules and devices based on the priority of services desired to be provided by the remote unit.

  • Publication number: 20200256888
Abstract: An acoustic air data sensing system includes an acoustic transmitter and a plurality of acoustic receivers. The acoustic transmitter is located to transmit an acoustic signal into airflow about an exterior of a vehicle. Each of the acoustic receivers is located at a respective angle from a wind angle reference line and a respective distance from the acoustic transmitter. Planar components of a velocity of the airflow are determined based on signal velocities of the acoustic signal to each of the plurality of acoustic receivers and the respective angles of the acoustic receivers from the wind angle reference line. Based on the planar components, the acoustic transmitter determines one or more of true airspeed and relative wind angle of the airflow about the exterior of the vehicle. The acoustic transmitter outputs the one or more of the true airspeed and the relative wind angle for operational control of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10622839
Abstract: An electrical source excites a conductive object. A receiver is electrically connected to the object to receive energy from the object, and can power a device. The object can be non-resonant under excitation by the source, and the receiver is excited into resonance by electrical contact with the object. The object can also be resonant under the excitation by the source, and the receiver receives energy from the resonance of the object.
