  • Patent number: 6323469
Abstract: A fluid cooled electric conductor for induction heating of a workpiece includes a flexible conductor which is enclosed within an insulating tube. The conductor is supported within the tube so as to be surrounded by a fluid conducting space or spaces. A support arrangement supports the tube. Temperature sensors adjust the heating process by, for example, operating variable-length holders that support the tube in a spaced relationship with a workpiece.
