  • Publication number: 20240130124
Abstract: An electronic device comprising a cell region comprising stacks of alternating dielectric materials and conductive materials. A pillar region is adjacent to the cell region and comprises storage node segments adjacent to adjoining oxide materials and adjacent to a tunnel region. The storage node segments are separated by a vertical portion of the tunnel region. A high-k dielectric material is adjacent to the conductive materials of the cell region and to the adjoining oxide materials of the pillar region. Additional electronic devices are disclosed, as are methods of forming an electronic device and related systems.

  • Publication number: 20240109568
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for worker protection system with ultra-wideband (UWB) based anchors. One or more wayside units placed on or near a track may be configured to form a work zone network, based on ultra-wideband (UWB) communications, corresponding to a work zone in an area surrounding or in proximity to the one or more wayside units. When the work zone network is formed, at least one wayside unit of the one or more wayside units may be configured to obtain ranging information to a train traversing the track, based on communications of UWB signals with at least one train-mounted unit deployed on the train, and the one or more wayside units are configured to generate, based on the ranging information, notifications relating to the train and/or the work zone.

  • Patent number: 4677895
Abstract: An internally augmented, parallel rail electromagnetic projectile launching system includes a plurality of projectile launching rail pairs wherein the stacked height of the rails adjacent to the launcher bore decreases from the breech end to the muzzle end of the launcher. The launcher rail pairs may be electrically connected in series with each other and in series with an external current source. Alternatively, a separate though not necessarily entirely independent current source may be provided for each pair of rails and switching means may be included to substantially simultaneously connect each current source to its associated rail pair.

  • Patent number: 4608908
Abstract: An electromagnetic projectile launcher is provided with a pair of parallel conductive projectile launching rails which are generally T-shaped with a significant current carrying cross section located symmetrically around a horizontal bore center line. Augmenting conductors which may be either series or parallel connected are located adjacent to the projectile launching rails. In favorable embodiments, force augmentation is also achieved by a reduction in launcher rail height from the breech to the muzzle end.
