  • Patent number: 11313116
Abstract: A stackable baffle drop shaft unit and method provides a pre-cast body that has a peripheral wall extending thereabout and having a top edge and an opposing bottom edge, the peripheral wall has an exterior facing surface and an opposing interior facing surface, and the body defines a medial channel extending therethrough between the top edge and the bottom edge. A baffle is carried by, and extends inwardly from the interior facing surface and partially across the medial channel defined by the body, and the baffle is positioned between the top edge and the bottom edge. The top edge and the bottom edge of the pre-cast body each define a portion of a positionally securing engagement and alignment means for positional and vertical alignment and stacking of plural units on top of one another. Vertical stacking of plural bodies forms a medial channel extending therethrough.
