  • Publication number: 20240095372
Abstract: Systems and techniques for offline platform information technology cyber-physical risk mitigation are described herein. System configuration data may be obtained for a platform information technology (PIT) computing system. A system model may be generated for the PIT computing system using the system configuration data. An attack path and mitigation data set may be generated from vulnerability and mitigation data. A risk profile may be generated for the PIT computing system by evaluating the attack path and mitigation data set using the system model. A security mitigation action may be automatically triggered based on a vulnerability detected in the risk profile.

  • Patent number: 8161550
Abstract: Apparatus and systems, as well as methods and articles, may operate to monitor communications between network nodes coupled to each other via at least one network, and map the communications to one or more communications graphs which are physically distributed over a plurality of network hosts. Network intrusion is detected using distributed graph-based data mining with respect to a selected subgraph and the communications graphs. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 4949466
Abstract: A drawing device adapted to produce line drawings or sketches on a transparent screen on top of a case partly filled with a powder that adheres slightly to the undersurface of the screen to render it opaque. Disposed within the case are transverse and longitudinal rods operatively coupled to respective control knobs, one of which, when turned, causes the longitudinal rod to shift toward either side of the case, the other of which, when turned causes the transverse rod to shift to either end of the case. Supported at the intersection of the rods is an indexable stylus turret and carrier assembly whose carrier is slidably supported on the transverse rod and whose stylus turret which is received within the carrier, is slidably supported on the longitudinal rod whereby the position occupied by the assembly is determined by the point of intersection.

  • Patent number: 4936809
Abstract: A sound-producing toy having a hollow body formed of resilient material, whereby when the body is depressed and deformed by a player, this action produces a honking sound. The body envelops an air-filled cavity at one end of which is an air-intake valve whose actuating element is outside the body so that when the element is actuated by the player, air is admitted into the cavity. Also disposed in the cavity is a sound producer having an air outlet normally closed by a membrane which is partially secured to the outlet so that when the body is depressed by the player, the resultant increase in internal air pressure above ambient is exerted against the membrane and causes deflection thereof to permit air to escape from the outlet. The escaping air causes the membrane to vibrate to produce a honking sound. The air expelled through the outlet creates a partial vacuum in the internal cavity which acts to maintain the body in its deformed state.

  • Patent number: 4869513
Abstract: A toy shooting gallery assembly having a raised platform behind whose rear end is an arcuate row of normally erect, pivotally-mounted targets. Each target is provided with a lug that depends from its lower end whereby when this lug is struck, it causes the target to fall down to register a hit. Pivoted at a point adjacent the front end of the platform is a hollow arm on whose front section is mounted a gun having a barrel which extends over the platform, the arm being swingable by the gun in an arc which scans the arcuate row of targets, whereby the barrel may be aimed at a selected target. The gun trigger is operatively coupled by a cable running through the hollow arm to a striker mechanism mounted on the rear section of the arm at a position underlying the target row.

  • Patent number: 4856197
Abstract: A drawing device adapted to produce line drawings or sketches on a transparent screen on top of a rectangular box-like case partly filled with a powder that adheres slightly to the undersurface of the screen to render it opaque. Disposed within the case is a stylus supported for sliding movement at the intersection of shiftable transverse and longitudinal rods. The extremities of the transverse rods are fastened to a set of parallel branches of a string loop operated by a control knob which when turned causes this rod and the stylus born thereby to move toward either end of the case, depending on the direction of knob rotation. The extremities of the longitudinal rod are fastened to a set of parallel branches of a second string loop operated by a second control knob when turned causes this rod and the stylus born thereby to move toward either side of the box, depending on the direction of knob rotation.

  • Patent number: 4157185
Abstract: A motorized toy phonograph assembly having a housing comprising in combination; a speaker cone subassembly in which a speaker cone is mounted, a motor subassembly in which a DC motor is mounted and a turntable subassembly in which a turntable is mounted with a phonograph record thereon, an intermediate wall separating the speaker cone subassembly from the turntable subassembly and having a predetermined opening for a tonearm pivotally connected to the housing in a biased position between the phonograph record and the speaker cone. The turntable is secured to a fixed shaft movable within a slot in the intermediate wall. Cam means tilt the turntable into various inclined positions for resetting the phonograph record upon completion of the record message.
