    Abstract: The present invention comprises an apparatus for attaching a basketball backboard to the inside of a garage door or other openable and closeable structure such that the basketball backboard may be generally concealed from sight so long as the garage door or other structure is in its "closed" position but whereby the basketball backboard may be deployed into a fully operational position when the garage door or other structure is in its "open" position. In accordance with the invention there is provided an apparatus for attaching a basketball backboard to a garage door or other surface.
