  • Publication number: 20220391977
Abstract: A system measures, by executing a monitoring process, first metric data associated with trade data at a first time point after the trade data is output by a first process of an application and before the trade data is input to a second process of the application, identifies the trade data at a second time point after the trade data is output by the second process and before the trade data is output by the application, measures second metric data associated with the trade data identified at the second time point, and sends, in response to a latency value obtained based on the first metric data or the second metric data exceeding a latency threshold, a latency alert to a user computing device associated with the application. The monitoring process is not a process of the application and is not linked with the first process or the second process.

  • Patent number: 10034394
Abstract: An electrical component enclosure with a hygienic hinge, which is used to house electric components, includes a body for fixing to a surface and having six faces defining a volume within which the electrical components are contained. One of the faces has an access aperture with a flange around the aperture. A closure covers the aperture to seal the body. A hinge connects the body and closure permitting movement of one to the other. The hinge includes an opening contained within the body next to the access aperture and includes a rigid extension portion which extends through the opening. The extension portion is fixed to the closure at one end and has a retaining portion at the other end which prevents the rigid extension portion from exiting the opening and allows the closure to hang from an edge of the opening.

  • Publication number: 20080191477
Abstract: A connector for connecting a first section of trunking to a second section of trunking is disclosed. The connector has an extension portion which is adapted to extend through a first opening in an end of a first section of trunking and through a second opening in an end of a second section of trunking when the end of the trunking sections are engaged with each other. There is also a retaining portion for preventing the extension portion from being pulled from said first trunking section through said openings to said second trunking section. The connector also has a clamping device for applying a clamping force at a plurality of separate locations around said first and second opening to retain said first and second trunking sections in engagement with each other.

  • Patent number: 7344163
Abstract: A section of trunking (20) has sides (22) which define a channel (34). Edge portions (32) of sides (22) are shaped so as to form further channels (34); Lid (26) has surface (29) and edge portions (30) which extend over channels (34) so as to form enclosed volumes. Screws (36) are used to fix lid (36) onto trunking section (20). Any water leaking through holes (38) and down the threads of screws (36) will be retained within channel (34) and will eventually dissipate between the side portion (30) of lid (26) and side (22) of trunking section (20). Trunking sections (20) are coupled by coupling (50) which is formed from surfaces (52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62 64 and 66) which themselves engage internal surfaces of the trunking sections and their respective lids. Coupling (50) is provided with pairs of threaded holes.

  • Patent number: 7170002
Abstract: A junction for joining a first section of conduit to a second section of conduit is described. The junction has a body, which has a first connecting portion for connecting a respective first section of conduit to said body and has a second connecting portion for connecting a second respective section of conduit to said body. The body defines a volume extending between the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion. The junction also has a lid which is engagable with the body and is adapted to close the aperture. The junction also has at least one earth connector which is located within the body and has at least one channel adapted to receive at least one earthed electrical cable in electrical contact with the body.

  • Publication number: 20040170487
Abstract: A device (20) for sealing an aperture (22) for a fixing such as a bolt (24) for a sealed enclosure (26) has a body (28) having an aperture (30) extending from a first surface (32) to a second surface (34). Body (28) also has a chamfered surface (36) and a retaining means (38) adjacent the first surface (32) to engage and seal the body (28) within aperture (22) of enclosure (26). Body (28) also has a cap engaging means (40) adjacent the second surface (34). The device also includes a cap (42) and a sealing gasket (46). In order to provide an adequate seal preventing water entering enclosure (26), the body 28 is inserted into aperture (22) and attached thereto. The enclosure is then offered to a wall and bolt (24) inserted through aperture is then offered to a wall and bolt (24) inserted through aperture (30) and fixed in a corresponding hole in the wall. The cap (42) can then be located on body (28) and gasket (46) assists in sealing the cap (42) and body (28).
