  • Publication number: 20240052673
Abstract: The system is a plurality of electromagnetic locking devices (linear electromagnetic actuators) coupled to a controller. The system substantially comprises a remote control unit wirelessly coupled to the controller to lock or unlock the electromagnetic locking devices built into a gate, cabinet, door or other appropriate housing unit, wherein a user can remotely control the opening and closing of doors, gates, drawers, cabinets and the like.

  • Publication number: 20230282046
Abstract: A restricted access locking system for storage furniture. The system comprises one or more processors and one or more computer-readable non-transitory memory coupled to one or more of the processors, the one or more computer-readable non-transitory memory including instructions operable when executed by one or more of the processors to sense, via a first sensor that is communicatively coupled to the processor, an input biometric security credential to generate a first signal based on whether the input biometric security credential maps with a key biometric security credential pre-configured and stored within the memory; and generate a second signal via the processor subsequent to the reception of the first signal by the processor for actuating at least one lock, mounted on one or more storage compartments of the storage furniture, to an open position, wherein the at least one lock is communicatively coupled to the processor.

  • Publication number: 20200193745
Abstract: A system for remotely locking and unlocking multiple storage units simultaneously or selectively (e.g. cabinet doors & drawers). The system works via a plurality of electromagnetic locking devices (“linear electromagnetic actuators”) coupled to the controller. The system further comprises a remote control unit wirelessly coupled to the controller. The remote control unit sends instructions to the controller to lock/unlock the electromagnetic locking devices to facilitate the locking and unlocking of any particular electromagnetic device associated with the controller. The linear electromagnetic actuator can incorporate electromagnets in addition to (or in lieu of) linear electromagnets and may utilize push/pull linear electromagnetic actuators. In some instances, the system may require a linear electromagnetic actuator with an angled lock looking style like a door latch/lock that slides onto the hole-port location; a magnet style can be utilized as well.

  • Patent number: 10199914
Abstract: The invention is a high torque and energy efficient electric motor. With a larger diameter shaft and shortened length, the design of the motor is pancaked. With high torque, the electric motor can operate efficiently by taking advantage of repelling and attracting forces from magnetic fields. Two embodiments of the invention for the high torque motor are designed to be energy efficient utilizing lifting design electromagnets, and low current flow in relation to the magnetic field produced is a key element of the invention.
