  • Publication number: 20230385195
Abstract: To facilitate an efficient processing of contended cache lines, a cache controller that is associated with a requestor receives a fetch request for data from the requestor. The fetch request is associated with a cache scope designation. If the data is in a high-level cache (e.g., L1 cache) associated with the requestor, the cache controller returns the requested data to the requestor. If the data is not in the high-level cache or if the data is not within the cache pool identified by the cache scope of search designation, and/or if obtaining the data is contentious, the controller returns a cache miss, undeliverable data, and request done instruction to the requestor. Such scheme allows or permits address contention events when the requestor deems such events are necessary and/or when important. As such, address contention events, performance, latencies, increased executions times, inefficient use of resources, may be diminished.

  • Publication number: 20230346814
Abstract: Disclosed are method of modulating immune response in a subject using carboranes and carborane analogs. The carborane and carborane analogs can selectively inhibit the activation and/or proliferation of T-cells, reducing circulating T-cell levels in a subject without significantly affecting circulating levels of neutrophils, monocytes, or B-cells. As a result, the carboranes and carborane analogs can be used in therapeutic and/or prophylactic applications, including to treat or prevent chronic heart failure (CHF) in a subject post-myocardial infarction (MI) and to treat or prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), multiple sclerosis (MS), and/or experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) in a subject.

  • Publication number: 20230349198
Abstract: A panel lock assembly securely attaches an object to a perforated wall board panel. The panel lock assembly comprises a pin that hooks through an opening in the panel, a brace that fits over the pin next to the panel, and a lock that fits through an opening in the pin. The lock prevents removal of the brace from the pin, which prevents removal of the pin from the panel. Objects can be secured by the lock to secure the object to the pin and therefore to the panel. In this manner, theft of objects secured to the panel can be deterred.
