  • Publication number: 20240246416
Abstract: A vehicle display device can include: a cover glass that is multicurved, wherein the cover glass is free floating and has an exposed glass edge; display modules that each has a free-form shape, the display modules positioned side by side and covered by the cover glass; an active pixel area visible through the cover glass, wherein the active pixel area includes a first area that has touch sensitivity and a second area that does not have touch sensitivity; and a connection portion configured for mounting the vehicle display device to a dashboard so that the vehicle display device floats from the dashboard.

  • Publication number: 20240241399
Abstract: A vehicle display device comprises: a housing forming an opening to an interior; a first display module positioned in the interior of the housing, the display module including a first louver film that is stacked with a second louver film, wherein respective orientations of the first and second louver films are substantially perpendicular to each other; and a cover glass that covers the opening to the interior of the housing, the cover glass being free floating and having an exposed glass edge; wherein the vehicle display device has a shroud-less design and is configured for positioning within a distance from a vehicle window where the display module is susceptible to generating a reflection in the vehicle window, and wherein at least one of the first and second louver films reduce the reflection.

  • Publication number: 20060249554
Abstract: Power tools, nailers and strips of fasteners. In some aspects and in some constructions, the invention may provide a power tool including a housing, a deflector selectively movable relative to the housing between a first position, in which the deflector deflects fluid in a first direction, and a second position, in which the deflector deflects fluid in a second direction. In some aspects and in some constructions, the invention may provide a nailer including a magazine operable to support a strip of fasteners in an orientation therein, the magazine defining an insertion opening therein through which the strip of fasteners is insertable into the magazine, the insertion opening having a configuration, the strip of fasteners having a configuration complementary to the configuration of the insertion opening, the strip of fasteners insertable into the magazine only when the strip of fasteners is in the orientation.

  • Publication number: 20050016001
Abstract: A drive mechanism for a power tool, a power tool and a reciprocating saw. The power tool includes a housing, a motor supported by the housing and including a drive shaft, an output member supported by the housing and adapted to support a tool element, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a drive assembly driven by the drive shaft for rotation about an axis, the drive assembly including a gear, a hub selectively driven by the gear for rotation about the axis, and structure positioned between the gear and the hub, the structure selectively transmitting drive force between the gear and the hub and selectively allows relative movement between the gear and the hub. The drive mechanism may also include a drive arm drivingly connected between the drive assembly and the output member of a tool, and the drive arm may be configured to absorb an impact.
